Jordan Brand recently unveiled its 2013 All-Star Collection of ‘Night Vision’ inspired footwear, which includes this clean Air Jordan III Retro colorway. While the comic-book villain ‘Joker’ has nothing to do with the concept of the shoe (instead, it’s a stealth night-vision colorway that sparks this color-combo), the moniker has stuck firmly since we first saw the shoe in late 2012. These are indeed confirmed for a release on February 16th alongside the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan XX8, so check out the official images of the Joker aka Night Vision aka All-Star release below and let us know if these are a must-have for you.

We’ve only got a few hours before the official release of the Air Jordan III Retro’ 88 goes down at 4:51 PM EST, but Jordan Brand decided to hit us with one last official look at the most polarizing Retro release in recent memory. Celebrating Michael Jordan’s triumph at the NBA Dunk Contest a quarter-century ago, this release brings back memories of the original much in part due to the primitive style of Air Jordan sneaker branding on the heel. For a while, the day an Air Jordan III with ‘Nike Air’ on the heel released would be far-fetched plot. Branding issues have removed any ‘Nike’ billboarding on an Air Jordan shoe for over a decade (with the exception of the Swoosh on the Air Jordan 1 and ‘NIKE’ on the heel of the Air Jordan II), but with an opportune time like the 25th Anniversary of Jordan’s iconic Dunk Contest win coming tomorrow, it’s time for Nike Air to make a comeback. The discussion has been endless, but we’re certain tomorrow’s release of the Air Jordan III Retro ’88 will be one of the biggest of the year (definitely one of the Top 30 of 2013). At this point you can’t really ignore Mark Wahlberg’s sneaker game given how often the actor has been popping up in random Jordan Brand retros. This time he was spotted with a certified classic on feet-the Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’, that pair that saw a retro release just a couple years ago and that will be back next week.
