This weekend’s big Eastbay restock will be joined by a pretty similar event from Foot Locker. Foot Locker’s calendar currently lists many of the same silhouettes as launching on April 19th at 8AM EST, and while they don’t mention specific colorways, we’re assuming that they will be most of the same pairs planned for the Eastbay restock. Unfortunately the sizing info also carries over – everything save for the “Powder Blue” Jordan 3 and the “Infrared” Jordan 6 appears to be sizes 15 and up. Continue reading for a quick glimpse of the pairs that will be available and view the Foot Locker release calendar here for more info.

Air Jordan Retro Restock at Finish Line on April 19th

toro 4 restock Air Jordan Retro Restock at Finish Line on April 19th

The Air Jordan 6 “Infrared”, Air Jordan 4 “Toro”, and Air Jordan 4 “Green Glow” will all be re-stocking at Finish Line on April 19th, 2014. The return of the Jordan 6 in question isn’t entirely surprising given its recent release, but the fact that those two Jordan 4s from last year are making their way back around certainly is (and definitely an opportunity to cop if you missed out). Keep in mind that Nike’s fiscal year will end in May, so there’s a chance that more restocks are to come (there were two major restocks in April and May of last year). Will you be trying to grab any of these renewed Air Jordans when they show up at Finish Line next week? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to Sneaker News for further restock info on your favorite styles.

The Air Jordan IV is back, and it’s outfitted this time with one of the most exciting retro+ colorways we’ve ever seen. That would be the “Toro” combo, one that lets fire red take over the entirety of the synthetic nubuck panels up top. The red thing has of course been done on retros before, but it’s not one that comes around too terribly often. Hit the jump with us for a refresher on the Air Jordan IV “Toro”, releasing tomorrow, July 13th, and tell us in the comments if they’re going to be on your feet by the weekend’s end. Also, if you wanna dodge some release date madness then see what’s on eBay now.

Dwyane Wade in Air Jordan IV “Toro”

We’ve learned time and time again that the sneaker contracts signed by athletes and celebrities can’t do much to control what they’re wearing when they’re not performing or making some sort of official performance. Dwyane Wade proves that again with this unexpected wear from a few days back of the upcoming Air Jordan IV “Toro”. Keep in mind that this pair was put into production well after Wade and Jordan Brand parted ways, so there’s no way it’s a mere leftover from his time as a Jordan athlete. Should Wade stay in his Li-Ning stuff around the clock to show support for the brand, especially now that he’s got his own sub-label? Let us know what you think and hit the jump with us for the full photo of Dwyane Wade in this weekend’s Air Jordan IV release.

It’s been a while since we checked in on Mark Wahlberg and his Jordans. Ending the drought of sightings was his recent trip to the University of Michigan, wherein Mark spent some time hanging out with the football squad while breaking in his, presumably seeded, pair of the Air Jordan IV “Toro”. As you probably already know, this anticipated retro will be out next weekend, so Marky Mark’s headstart here actually isn’t too drastic. Take a look at the imagery lined up after the jump and tell us if you’re jealous of Wahlberg’s Jordan connect.

Air Jordan IV “Toro” – Beauty Shots

air jordan iv toro beauty shots 7 Air Jordan IV Toro Beauty Shots

The Black and Red combination is one that, for obvious reasons, has always been a significant landmark of the Air Jordan story. The Red aspect of that equation has historically been more controversial, most infamously getting Nike into hot water way back in the Air Jordan 1 era with its fiery, rule-breaking palette. And while it’s no secret that Nike benefited a great deal from that little controversy, they did indeed tune down the red sections quite a bit on successive releases. So while the likes of the Air Jordan IV had a “Fire Red” colorway during its initial release, the use of the color was rather toned down and utilized only for the minute yet impactful accents of the sneaker. The Retro Air Jordan treatments have amended the role of red in the lineup, allowing for all sorts of daring colorways that likely would have given whoever is in charge of the NBA uniform guidelines a panic attack were they to hit the court during Mike’s heyday.
