There was a time when this super exclusive laser-ed out red version of the Air Jordan IV was pretty high up in the hierarchy of rarest Air Jordan IV’s of all time, its appearances being among the fewest and most far between in the realm of samples. Jordan Brand men like Gentry Humphrey and Carmelo Anthony have sort of erased that status with some of their recent show-off moments, but that’s not to say the pair wouldn’t still be a coveted addition to any given collection. Longtime keeper of the keys at Jordan Brand and recent Nike Sportswear transplant Gentry Humphrey has been known to stay around some slick samples, most recently being the first to show up with the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ before we could even dream of the chaos sparked by their retail release. His recent entry into the Twitter-verse has him letting go some more looks at unreleased sneaks, with this picture showing off an alternate version of the Air Jordan IV ‘Laser’ that is a bit more whited out to an almost ‘History of Flight’ looking end. Are we looking at a possible upcoming release, since 2012 is the ‘Year of the IV’?
