Who doesn’t love a beautiful woman rocking heat? Vandal-A‘s latest sneaker-inspired t-shirt design brings together two iconic visions of beauty who both, in their own way, embody the pinnacle of style, grace and timelessness. For the retro release of the White/Cement Air Jordan IV, Vandal-A flips Marilyn Monroes’s most well-known snap shot by placing her in a pair of the legendary kicks with the simple tagline, “Classic” placed in the corner. And what’s more classic than these two, so seeing them brought together creates for quite a tasty image, especially with the subtle touch of the red Jumpman logos on the tongues against the vintage black and white photo. If you’re picking up your crispy new IV’s tonight or tomorrow and need a classy tee to match, hit up the Vandal-A store now to cop your Monroe IV shirt while supplies last.

Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘White Cement’ – New Photos

This month’s biggest Air Jordan Retro release comes next Saturday the 21st when the ‘Chicago’ AJX hits retailers, and after that comes a long-awaited classic that’s arguably the most significant thing we’ll see before this summer’s Olympic festivities. The Air Jordan IV Retro hasn’t touched down in the ‘White Cement’ colorup for so long that the last pairs featured ‘NIKE AIR’ on the heels, and as we’ve seen with several different AJ Retros including last February’s Air Jordan 7 ‘Bordeaux’, waiting more than a decade means these joints will be gone just as soon as they get here.  Add in the kind of special packaging that marked last year’s AJ3s and these will demand a similarly solid plan if you want to get one on the Feb 18th release date.  In the meantime, check out this new run of images and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Kinstor

Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘White Cement’ – New Images

As if it wasn’t enough for Jordan Brand to hit us off with three of the four original Air Jordan III colorways last year, they brought back the classic goodness as close as you could get to having ‘NIKE AIR’ on the heels thanks to a dope new/old box featuring the Three’s signature Elephant print and a removable top. It’d be a welcome addition to all the Air Jordan Retros to see their packaging reflect one of each model’s unique characteristics (especially after the death of the Retro Cards), and the Air Jordan IV Retro ‘White Cement’ coming with a speckled and ‘Flight’-emblazoned box is a step in the right direction. They’re a perfect representation of the Four and look great with JB’s new box label, so rather than asking if the box was done well, a more relevant question might be, how many Jays should come in these kinds of boxes? Many consider the series to have peaked in the earlier years; would you want to see special boxes for all of MJ’s Chicago Bulls sneakers, or should the entire set 1-2011 come in a package reflecting the shoe’s design? Let us know when you click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for more in advance of the February 18th release date. via Air-Randy

Air Jordan IV Retro – White – Cement | Another Look

air jordan iv retro white cement another look 1 Air Jordan IV Retro White Cement | Another Look

Among the standout comments in our most recent look at the ‘White Cement’ Air Jordan 4 Retro was the “number one reason why we [sneakerheads are] broke . . . fresh.”  And while it merely takes a quick look at some of the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke designs to realize that plenty of heads are doing quite well, the point is still valid that Jordan Brand is hitting us with scorching heat in a rapid-fire succession never before seen to this point.  After a six week stretch in late ’11 that includes the ‘Black Cement’ AJIIIs, ‘Last Shot’ XIVs and ‘Concord’ XIs, we’ll start 2012 with the ‘Chicago’ Tens followed in a month by the ‘Old Royal’ colorway of that model coming just one week before we get the first ‘White Cement’ Fours inabout thirteen years.  So as you can see, the next rolling quarter-plus is absolutely inundated with beloved classics; will you structure your sneaker savings to include funds for these AJIVs?  via Soleland

Air Jordan 4 Retro – White – Cement

November 8th, 2011 by | 31 comments

The Air Jordan IV White/Cement would’ve been the perfect choice for the gift-giving holiday season, but a sneaker of this magnitude and importance would be an instant cop any day of the year! We finally brought you a detailed look at the men’s size of the Air Jordan IV White/Cement, and many readers were pleased to see the black speckling as well as the plastic ‘Wings’ used on the upper. A sneaker as ‘holy’ as the White/Cement IV is best when reproduced as close to the original (with the exception of the Nike Air on the heel, but that’s a branding issue), so consider these upcoming 2/18 releases to be the best we’re gonna get. Check out the new detailed images below and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more updates as we get closer to the release date! via kicks-lab.

Air Jordan IV Retro – White – Cement | New Images

How on earth is Jordan Brand going to follow up on a holiday season that starts with the beloved Air Jordan III ‘Black Cement’ and ends with the only shoe it couldn’t beat in our March Madness OG Air Jordan Tournament? How about another one of the AJ Legacy’s upper eschelon, a 1989 original that’s been long overdue with just a single retro a decade after the debut. Thirteen years makes for a ton of people at a fever pitch for the Air Jordan IV Retro in the ‘White Cement’ colorway, and its appearance early in 2012 suggests we won’t have time to catch our breaths after the onslaught of Retro heat over this year’s last six weeks. We’ve got some new images for you waiting after the jump so click on through and let us know where these rank in your own personal all-time list. via Air-Randy

2012 is poised to be a pretty big year for the Air Jordan IV, with classic colorways like the ‘Military’ Air Jordan IV and the ‘White Cement’ Air Jordan IV already confirmed. Given that the above pictured white cement version hasn’t seen a retail release in over ten years, it would be an understatement to call this one “anticipated”. As is usually the case, we’ve got photos of the kids sizes up first, and the all important speckling is indeed intact. Get the full look at these new pictures of the Air Jordan IV White Cement in GS sizes after the jump and grab your pair early from RMK if you can’t stand the wait.
