AIR JORDAN IV WHITE/CEMENT The Air Jordan IV White/Cement is an original colorway of the Air Jordan IV that was first released in 1989. The ‘cement’ part of the name refers to the speckled grey sections of the sneaker making up the midsole, lace wings, and back tab. The Air Jordan IV White/Cement has had two retro releases since, one in 1999 and one in 2012.

We figure it’s only a matter of time before Jordan Brand starts doing the “Flip” concept on models other than the Air Jordan III. Imagining what that approach would result in with respect to the Air Jordan 4 is this new custom creation from PKZUNIGA. As you can see, the upper is covered in the cement print speckling-a speckling that does a pretty good job mimicking that of the OG we might add. To make things complete its wiped off the midsole section. Get with us after the break to see more and then get with PKZUNIGA to order your own.

Air Jordan IV “All Over Cement” by DeJesus Customs

Jordan Brand themselves will be taking one of their iconic prints and blowing it up to an all-over level on the upcoming Air Jordan V “Elephant Print”. Taking a similar route is this Air Jordan IV custom from DeJesus, one that doesn’t have one pair of Jordans borrowing from another-instead the shoe picks up on its own cement speckle and uses it to a much larger degree. The end result is the Air Jordan IV “All Over Cement”, a shoe that ironically skips out on that pattern on the midsole sections where it first showed up. Continue reading for more images on this latest DeJesus Customs pair and give us your two cents on them down in the comments.

air jordan iv 1999 retros 570x428 Air Jordan IV 99 Retro Set on eBay

Jordan Brand really opened Pandora’s box this year with the release of the Air Jordan III ’88, that pair that had the “Nike Air” badge on the back end. What’s next? We can’t possibly predict that, but we can definitely predict that if the Air Jordan IV was the model to get the treatment they’d be an instant sell out. Pictured are the last couple of OG Air Jordan IV colorways that had the “Nike Air” on them, the “White/Cement” and the “Bred” from back in 1999. Continue reading to see the two and then check the rare chance to grab both in one fell swoop from lilshk54321 on eBay.

Can you imagine how much differently this pair of Jordans would have been received had the speckling been switched? Shown is an alternate version of 2012′s Air Jordan IV “White/Cement” that features the speckles that accent the upper in grey rather than in the OG black. Would they have sat on shelves had this little detail been altered? Probably not, but we can guarantee that there would have been a good amount of grumbling. Continue reading to see this alternate version of the Air Jordan IV and then bid on the grey speckle pair from oregonsole on eBay.

You’ve gotta figure that Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra could probably get his hands on any Nike LeBron release his heart desires, right? It looks like he might be more of an Air Jordan man though. Spoelstra showed up to the recent conference for LeBron James’ latest MVP Award with blatant disregard for any sort of dress code-shirt tucked into his cargo shorts and the Air Jordan IV “White/Cement” on feet. Continue reading to see more of this oddball sneaker sighting, as well as Spoelstra’s speech at LeBron James’ 2013 MVP awards ceremony and stay tuned to see if he starts showing up the hardwood with this kind of heat.
