Who doesn’t love a beautiful woman rocking heat? Vandal-A‘s latest sneaker-inspired t-shirt design brings together two iconic visions of beauty who both, in their own way, embody the pinnacle of style, grace and timelessness. For the retro release of the White/Cement Air Jordan IV, Vandal-A flips Marilyn Monroes’s most well-known snap shot by placing her in a pair of the legendary kicks with the simple tagline, “Classic” placed in the corner. And what’s more classic than these two, so seeing them brought together creates for quite a tasty image, especially with the subtle touch of the red Jumpman logos on the tongues against the vintage black and white photo. If you’re picking up your crispy new IV’s tonight or tomorrow and need a classy tee to match, hit up the Vandal-A store now to cop your Monroe IV shirt while supplies last.

It’s a bit of an odd way to pay tribute, dedicating a colorway to a team whose hearts were collectively broken by Jordan styling on them in this same sneaker back in 1989. Still, it’s hard not to get excited about the Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs’ given how infrequently the Air Jordan IV sees this colorful of a look. Of course it has its competition cut out for it, going up against other marquee names in the IV legacy like the White/Cement and ‘Fire Red’ versions set to drop in 2012. Will you be passing in favor of the OG colorways on their way or are you stoked on the Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs’? Let us know after you check out the huge set of detailed images we have of this upcoming release. Also check out the strange octagonal Jordan Brand box shown, but keep in mind this will indeed pop up in the OG styled packaging we’ve grown accustomed to over the last year. via HC

Jeremy Lin’s continued excellence has been perfectly timed with Carmelo Anthony currently out nursing an injury, both for the once struggling New York Knicks and Melo’s sneaker backers. Lin’s not a Jordan Brand athlete, but all the attention on the orange and blue (and black) means that this upcoming Air Jordan IV release is sure to get its fair share of ‘Linsanity’-laden references in the sneaker blogosphere. But despite Michael Jordan coming up in conversation this week as we’re reminded that he’s the most prolific scorer in the history of basketball at Madison Square Garden, a recent look-see event saw Jordan Brand unveil them with a more logical theme. The Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs‘ is a reminder that before Lin sent Floyd Mayweather a rather public ‘Stick to boxing’ tweet at Air Canada Centre last night, MJ took a game winning jumper of his own to crush Craig Ehlo and the 1989 Cleveland Cavaliers, ending the Bulls’ opening round upset of the three-seed in spectacular fashion. We’ve seen a variety of Cavs and Knicks colorways on a select few Air Jordans including some spectacular PEs over the years, but is this the best one to hit retail yet? Let us know what you think about the corrected inspiration and stick with Sneaker News for the ‘Cavs’ Air Jordan IV release date. via rstor

Looks like 2012 might just be the year that Jordan makes his return to the Garden. Of course not the man himself but his sneaks rather, as the upcoming ‘Knicks’ colorway of the Air Jordan IV should be a popular choice for players and fans alike at Madison Square upon their impending release. So while they will no doubt be a favorite in the Empire Sate, the real question is how sneakerheads at large will judge them. To help you out with that, we’ve got some extra preview shots that deliver on the promise of continued OG-style packaging. As if the Air Jordan IV Retro returning for its 23rd anniversary and a commemorative colorup as well as three original colorways including one in just five days weren’t enough to cause pandemonium, there’s yet another hot new design stirring up a frenzy in the sneakerhead set. Fitting for a team now fully in the grips of Linsanity that all this craziness manifests on the Air Jordan 4 ‘Knicks’, a black nubuck banger whose high-contrast palette rivals some of the very best Air Jordan PEs Jordan Brand has issued. And just like Carmelo’s new-sig-debuting releases from late last year, you won’t have to be in the league to get these; the real question is when should we expect the Air Jordan IV ‘Knicks’ release date? Stick with Sneaker News to find out first, and click through to see the best round of images that’ve surfaced to date. via Marquee Sole

The ‘Knicks’ colorway is drawing quite a bit of attention leading up to next week’s ‘White Cement’ Retro release, but let’s not forget that there are at least two other ‘off’-colored Air Jordan 4s making waves in early 2012. The ‘Voltage Cherry’ joints just dropped last weekend, and coming up alongside the beloved White Cement OGs is this ’Ultraviolet’ Air Jordan IV GS, a model that borrows the original’s blocking pattern but swaps out its neutralized Chicago ‘home’ palette for a more feminine look that’ll be popular with a ton of Miss Sneakerheads. We expect these to hit retailers in mid-April, but will you be getting in on the grade school part of the ‘White Cement’ drop next Saturday? Click through so you can see how this Ultraviolet edition compares and stick with Sneaker News for all the summer 2012 Air Jordan release dates. via TTB

2012 marks the 23rd Anniversary for the Air Jordan IV, so a special release for one particular sector of Jordan fanatics had to be made! This Girls-only colorway of the Air Jordan IV hits stores tomorrow, featuring a tonal Voltage Cherry upper with Black accents on the lacewings and outsole. The guys certainly had their eyes glued to them when 106 & Park host Rocsi salsa-danced in them in a friendly battle against Superbowl Champ Victor Cruz, and the ladies got clear confirmation that these are in fact a must-have sneaker. Tomorrow will be a monster day of releases and the Voltage Cherry IVs are one reason why that is, so be sure to cop these at Jordan Brand retailers like Moe’s Sneaker Spot or cop a pair right now on eBay.

Sneaker News just revealed images described by a phrase that many sneakerheads have been eagerly awaiting for almost seventeen years: Air Jordan XI ‘Blackout’. That sample pair is generating quite a buzz, and there’s another recent black-uppered Air Jordan revelation with a black upper that’s also causing a stir in the community. Coming the wake of the ‘Knicks Pack’ Spiz’ikes and a couple of orange-and-blue-accented releases for this spring is another Air Jordan IV for 2012, a black nubuck design that’ll have you scratching your head when you realize these are basically only one color away from last fall’s wacky Doernbecher x AJ4. It looks like we won’t have to fear that these are a Spike Lee ‘PE’ this time around, so that leaves the question: when is the Air Jordan IV ‘Knicks’ release date? Stick with Sneaker News to find out, and check out a new set of images in the meantime. via Air-Randy

There’s a big holiday on its way for next weekend and no, we’re not talking about President’s Day. Sure the majority of the nation may recognize February 18th as George Washington’s birthday, the majority of the readers on this site will instead be spending the day with Franklin, Hamilton, and Grant (do the math) firmly in their grip ready to fork it over for the Air Jordan IV white/cement. The first release in what should be a great year of the Air Jordan IV, it feels fitting that things are kicked off with such a long anticipated retro release. Follow us after the jump for some extra shots of the Air Jordan IV in white/cement from ITSB, and look out for them popping up now at select retailers like Mr. R. Sports or get yourself an early pair now on eBay.
