undftd air jordan 4 comparison sample Rare Air: Comparing the UNDFTD x Air Jordan 4 with the Unreleased Version

When discussing the rarest of Air Jordans and the devoted few who reach far and wide to grab the most exclusive of gems, names like Simon “depeche23mode” Tan come up almost every time. If you need a thorough reminder as to how deep his collection is, take a look back at our feature on this man’s insane gathering of shoes. If you don’t have the time for all of that, check out this comparison of the shockingly limited UNDFTD x Air Jordan 4 and the even rarer sample version of the shoe courtesy of Simon himself. You’ll notice that the shade of green in the “released” version is a bit grittier and leans toward olive tones, and the rear of the midsole goes a full white opposed to the black panel that’s used in the sample. Seeing the UNDFTD 4s in detail is a rare treat, but side by side with the sample? You don’t want to miss out on this.

Air Jordan 4Lab1 “Sport Turquoise”

air jordan 4lab1 sport turquoise 01 Air Jordan 4Lab1 Sport Turquoise

Let the Lab Series continue. Sure, we’ve seen the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4 team up before on the general release-delegated Air Jordan 1 Retro ’89. The thought process for the Air Jordan 4Lab1 doesn’t even look to be all that different as Mike’s fourth signature can be found atop his first thanks to the all over mesh webbing. Obviously the technology looks to be a bit more thought out and advanced on the Element Series rendition as the panels of the Air Jordan 1 seem to be fused underneath reminiscient of that NSW Tape aesthetic. We’ve already seen a rather standard white and black pair, but how does this “Sport Turquoise” look sit with you? The shade screams Gamma Blue, that hue that dominated last holiday season, while black can be found in a gradient on the heel and lining. No word yet on a release date, but check out more photos after the break.

air jordan 11 lab 4 Air Jordan 4 Patent Leather Sample

A patent leather sample of the Air Jordan 4 has emerged, and we can only point to one possibility – an Air Jordan 4 11Lab4. Quick reminder for those unfamiliar with the Lab joints and the nomenclature; it’s an Air Jordan with elements of another, with the lending pair named first. Patent leather is a sure-fire AJ11 trademark, and we don’t think Jordan Brand would go down the route of adding the glossy upper on another Air Jordan without a good reason, don’t you think? Check out the full teaser pic below and let us know what you think about these Jordan 11Lab4 samples.
