If there was any city in need of a dedicated consignment shop that didn’t yet have one, Portland, OR would be it. The city is of course home to the world HQ of Nike INC and the US HQ of adidas, meaning that there’s no shortage of samples and rarities floating around the collections of Multnomah County. Finally filling the gap is Index PDX, a new spot in downtown Stumptown that had its grand opening last Friday, June 7th. Worth nothing is the fact that the shop is backed by the likes of brokeonjordans, a collection partnership that’s long been a source of incredible PE heat over on eBay, so you can bet they’ve got plenty of neck-snapping stock. See some photos from their opening and visit Index PDX at 114 NW 3rd Ave in Portland next time you’re in the area.

The “Green Glow” Air Jordan 4 will be one of the two styles for that sneaker arriving this summer. The other one, that “Fire Red Nubuck”, keeps things sort of OG looking as far as its adherence to the Chicago theme. This pair, quite frankly, does not. Instead there’s a glow in the dark scheme in place, one that leaves the shoe looking pretty inconspicuous when the lights are on. Continue reading for the latest preview of the “Green Glow” Air Jordan IV and tell us in the comments if these Jordans are on your must have list.

Remember the somewhat shiny surface of the Air Jordan V GS “Valentine’s Day” pair? That material sees a reprisal of sorts on this, another GS pair of Jordans that takes full advantage of the colorful liberties granted by that category. The Air Jordan IV shown doesn’t have any sort of release info attached as of yet, but we’d be surprised if they hit stores before this Fall’s string of release for the same silo. Get more after the jump and tell us if you approve of the Air Jordan IV GS shown.

The Air Jordan IV “Green Glow” looks to be one of those Jordans that will forever be compared to an earlier sample version. That’s right, the model was tweaked just a bit before heading to retail, meaning that there are going to be two camps of folks: those who are happy about the change and those who will lament the fact that the tonal version is probably never coming out. Where do you fall on that spectrum? Give us a heads up below after you check out this latest gallery for the Air Jordan IV “Green Glow”.

Ladies sneakers have gone so far beyond their early scope that when we do see a ‘pink and shrink’ colorway, it packs more of a punch. This latest Air Jordan IV GS makeup fits into that category, a purple-trimmed glossy pink style that’s decidedly on the ‘girls’ side of things. These young ladies’ Fours add reflective 3M treatment on the IV’s signature eyelet wings, and it looks like the same stuff carries over to the heel tabs. Have a closer look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for this Air Jordan 4 GS’s release date.

The “Green Glow” Air Jordan IV apparently had a little bit of a tweaking before the final retail version. Shown here is the style that you can expect in stores, one that utilizes a two-toned grey upper in the place of the more uniform tonal-grey looks that fell on the early samples. We’ve seen little switches like this go down countless times before, whether it be thanks to a factory blunder (the Air Jordan IX “Black Bottom”) or just a last minute alteration (the Air Jordan XI Low). See both both versions after the jump, keep in mind that the two-toned is the one you can expect in stores, and then give us a heads up in which Air Jordan IV “Green Glow” you prefer.

The non-Oregon player exclusive retro Jordans have been some of the most elusive to date amongst the collegiate group. At long last we get a better look at the Air Jordan IV “Marquette”, a Golden Eagles looking pair that actually has quite a bit in common with the previously released “Tour Yellow” colorway of the same sneaker. The shoes feel like just a little bit of a step down from the likes of the aforementioned Oregon and the UNC, as there aren’t any apparent logos attached to really tie them in to their team. Take a full look at the pair after the jump and then check out the crazy price they sold for from air_phenom on eBay.

Jordan Brand’s got plans to whip up a “Fear Pack” of Jordans for 2013, with the (sold separately) sneakers in the set inspired by Mike’s ability to put fear into his opponents. The one that’s been most readily available so far is the Air Jordan IV “Fear”, a shoe with a serious black and white colorway for the upper that gets boosted by some oreo-like speckling across the midsole. Get a new set of photos for the Air Jordan IV “Fear” in the gallery that we’ve got lined up below and stay tuned to find out when these Jordans will be releasing. Thanks to Joe Venuto for the photos.
