Remember the Jordan CP3.VI “Nitro Pack”? Apparently Jordan Brand also gave Chris Paul some retro editions to match. Shown here is the supercharged Air Jordan IV “Nitro” which sports a purple upper consisting of what appears to be a synthetic nubuck material similar to that found on the Air Jordan IV “Toro” retro. The pair certainly is a tantalizing one, but keep in mind that these were on display as part of Chris Paul’s collection at the Nike Vault-so there isn’t necessarily a retail release coming any time soon. Remember a couple weeks back when Chris Paul showed us what was inside his Air Jordan vault? This time around we’ve got a little sneak peek at what Carmelo Anthony is working with. Granted it’s not as thorough as CP3′s, but it’s still interesting to see some of the pairs that one of Jordan Brand’s longest tenured athletes has access to. It’s also interesting to see the Melo, a Syracuse alum, would even consider making room in his closet for a pair of the Air Jordan 4 from rival school Georgetown. Continue reading to see more and tell us if you’re envious of Melo’s sneaker stash.

Air Jordan 4 “TIFFiti” Customs by Sekure D

air jordan 4 tiffiti customs Air Jordan 4 TIFFiti Customs by Sekure D

Sekure D is a custom sneaker creator whose work more often than not has some sort of comic book inspiration. This time around he breaks character with this pair, an Air Jordan 4 that borrows a bit from the Nike SB line. In case you couldn’t recognize the theme in question-he aimed at the Tiffany blue shade from Diamond Supply Co’s crown achievement Dunk collab. Of course he still put some of his patended touches across the upper, like that carnage print and a little bit of graffiti lettering. See the shoe in full detail after the break and then get in touch with Sekure D if you feel like you want your own pair of one-offs.

Did you catch that video yesterday of Chris Paul’s Air Jordan collection? If you stuck around for the whole thing then you definitely saw some goodies in there beyond that of his signature line with Jordan Brand. One of the most exciting pairs shown off was this, the Air Jordan 4 in a brand new “Volt” colorway. It’s inevitable that they’ll draw some comparisons to the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” of old, but any trained eye can spot the differences between the two. See the Air Jordan 4 “Volt” below and then head to Vimeo for the full clip.

Air Jordan IV “Sinner City” Customs by Sekure D

air jordan iv sinner customs Air Jordan IV Sinner City Customs by Sekure D

Mr. Sekure D must be pretty into the comic book world given how regularly his custom work dips into themes from that realm. Shown is another “Sin City” custom from the Australian. The sneakers actually stay within the lines of the colors most commonly associated with Jordan Brand just by coincidence. What’s more they were delivered to a celeb customer-Bernard James of the Dallas Mavericks (It’s a shame that his team’s colors mean that he likely won’t be lacing them up on court anytime soon). Continue reading for more on this custom Jordan 4 and give us your thoughts on the pair down in the comments.

If you’ve got an original pair of Air Jordan 4s in your collection, chances are they aren’t even close to wearable thanks to that bubble on the bottom. So does it really make a difference if they’re just a little worn? It does in this case-a positive one actually as MJ was the one to suit up in the sneakers. On top of that he apparently autographed this Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” afterwards. Make sure you see the shoes in all their “Nike Air” glory below and then check out the chance to own this grail from binkable on eBay.
