air jordan 10 red black grey spring 2015 2 Air Jordan Retros To Be Remastered Beginning Spring 2015

Jordan Brand has answered the calls for higher quality Air Jordan retros with their “remastering” of the line that’s being prepped for Spring 2015. This newly unveiled initiative is part of a concerted effort to work closer with factories to produce sneakers that sport the shape, stitching, lines, and the like that are uniform and up to the quality demanded by their “engineered to the exact specifications of championship athletes” motto (Or briefly, as close to “OG” as possible). Included in the range will be the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 7, and the Air Jordan 10 for Spring 2015 – particularly the “Columbia”, “French Blue”, and a new Red/Black/Grey colorway in respective order.

A new focus on quality will mean a price increase though – expect a jump from “10%-15% depending on the model”. This is certainly great news for those who cherish the original quality of Air Jordans, so see get a preview of these 2015 Jordans and then head to Sole Collector to read more on the upcoming remastering of Jordan Brand in their 30th anniversary year.

The Air Jordan IV “Oreo” from 1999 was one of the first new Air Jordan Retro colorways in history. This new take on the AJ4 features a perforated leather window opposed to the signature netting on the upper, with the “cookies and cream” speckling giving these the “Oreo” nickname. Sources say that this same colorway is indeed re-releasing in 2015 (the 1999 version is above, 2015 Retro below), so if you missed out on these the first time around, your next opportunity will be arriving soon. In 2014, rappers are given sneakers with increasing frequency. And we don’t mean “given” in the sense of blessed with promotional pairs ahead of the release date, but rather they’ve had more and more opportunities to channel their personae into limited footwear collections thanks to the support of sneaker companies. This process didn’t happen overnight though, it took a couple of decades of endorsements before the floodgates really opened as far as special SMUs went. You of course have to give credit to Run DMC back in the ’80s for championing their adidas, and to a lesser extent LL Cool J for linking up with Troop (Although fellow Queens rapper MC Shan didn’t approve).
