Confirmed for Fall 2012? The Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ and the original colorway of the ‘Fire Red’ Air Jordan IV – two surefire heaters that will set off the hot months ablaze. Sneaker News showed you the Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ last weekend, but here we have a quick teaser angle of the Air Jordan IV ‘Fire Red’; in 2007, Jordan Brand released a special edition of this colorway dubbed the ‘Mars’, which featured a famous Mars Blackmon logo on the heel. This 2012 version will come sans-Spike like the original. Seeing these two babies side-by-side may induce reddening of the face and jittery fingers, so proceed with caution to the extra angles below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on all Air Jordan Retro releases for 2012. via Solefly’s @this_is_chino & @Verb04

Many of you may be looking forward to the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ or even the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’, but don’t overlook the re-issue of one of the most sought after Air Jordans out there – the Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ that first dropped back in 2000. While Michael himself never wore this particular colorway (Ray Allen did during the 2000 Olympics), the Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after Air Jordans of all-time, with the ’00 release fetching over $500. Sneaker News confirmed the release of these bad boys last week, but now we have a first look at the actual upcoming release. Check out the pics, wipe your drool, and let us know what you think in the comments section below. via US11.
