2014 looks to be a big year for the Air Jordan 6. Amongst the already confirmed retro colorways, there have been rumors surrounding the return of the never-retrod Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue”. What we have here is perhaps the first bit of evidence pointing to that release-an Air Jordan VI that does indeed sport that specific shade. The soles on the bottom don’t quite have that icy shade of blue we’ve come to associate with the translucent treatment in the modern era of retros though, so it’s it might be best to take the photo with a grain of salt. The Air Jordan VI is a silo whose original colorways haven’t been too readily retro’d over the years, the ‘Infrared’ pack making some serious progress a couple years back. Of the two still in the vault it’s safe to say the sport blue (or September blue depending on who you ask) shown here is the more coveted, sort of serving as the natural progression from early iterations of the blue based OG’s like the ‘Military’ and ‘True Blue’. In this latest dose of Spt Blue Air Jordan VI, the color looks neither ‘Sport’ nor ‘September’, but more so ‘delicious. Here’s a look at a sneaker cake designed after the Air Jordan VI ‘Sport Blue’; this cake was custom-made by a baker for NT member Ereezy (actually not a cake, the shoe is made up of rice-crispies squares), and the creator had the right mind to make it ‘pre-yellowed’. We’ve got extra angles for you to look at below, so take a peek and let us know what you think.
