Looks like we’ve got a tight battle for best kicks of the last two nights! Monta Ellis went on repeat mode, but kept it fiery with the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’, but up-and-comer Delonte West caught our attention by wearing the Nike Air Flight One in the ‘Orlando’ colorway. Kendrick Perkins’ Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ deserves some attention, as does Gilbert Arenas’ back-to-back Air Jordan showing of the Old Royal X and the Air Jordan IX ‘For The Love Of The Game’. A blue-based jersey seems to follow Gilbert wherever he lands, but that’s only good news because we know what he’s capable of putting out when rocking those colors! Check out the best sneakers from the last two nights and let us know who takes the cake! via espn

The latest in the pipeline of oven-baked and frosted Air Jordan confections comes in the form of the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’, which served as the co-centerpiece for a recent birthday bash for a lucky sneakerhead pictured here with his cake, donned in complete Chicago Bulls gear. Although the signature career achievement detailing was unable to be completed in time, it serves as a metaphorical blank slate for Jazz (the birthday boy), who can line up his own MJ-like achievements and jot ‘em down when he completes them one by one. How does this compare to the Air Jordan IV White/Cement cake we showed you earlier? Let us know in the comments below.

Last night Sneaker News showed you LeBron’s ‘Miami Floridians’ PE of the LeBron 9 that he wore to match the Heat’s throwback uniforms. While we were indeed awestruck at the new colorway, there was plenty of other on-court NBA Feet heat to take notice of! But before we get onto the sneakers, special notice must go to Kobe’s black protective mask, which made him look like more of a masked crusader than a Black Mamba, although his winning streak with the mask came to end. Staying on the topic of Kobes, Paul George wore his Pacers-specific iD while Demar DeRozan went tonal with an all-white Kobe VII iD. Kevin Durant sported a new PE colorway of the Nike Zoom KD IV which featured a thunderous mix of white, photo blue, and team orange. Chris Paul rocked a sick Baby Blue/Red PE of the CP3.V that had some visual flair thanks to the Anodized finish on the upper. If you missed out on the NBA games yesterday, check out a nice visual recap below! via ESPN

During 2011′s retro return of the Air Jordan III, the already much anticipated releases got a little icing on the cake in the form of the OG packaging and the sick plastic hangtags. So when shots of the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ release for 2012 first started popping up with the “X” hangtags, sneakerheads were enthusiastic about getting a little more bang for their buck in what was already a grail of a release. The only catch was that when the release date arrived, quite a number of pairs popped up without the hangtag included. There is hope though for those of you who copped a pair of the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ only to find you were missing this little goodie. All you have to do is call up Nike at 1-800-806-6453, give them a little info on where and when you made your purchase, and then wait 3-4 weeks for delivery and you’ll have your hangtag to complete the package. via ShoeWolf

Our mid-week coverage of NBA Feet continues with this nice collection of sneaker sightings from the games of the last two nights. Some of Monday’s highlights included the ‘twinsies’ of the Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoffs’, worn by Nate Robinson and Monta Ellis, followed by the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ once again by Rockets guard Courtney Lee. Delonte West of the Dallas Mavericks wore the Nike Air Penny III HoH Exclusive in the rip-stop material, but the best Air Penny sighting of the last two days was Earl Clarks’ Nike Air Max Penny 1. The first Nike Zoom Kobe VII iD kicks surfaced on the feet of Hakim Warrick and Amir Johnson (both opting for the ‘Attack Fast’ option). Check out more of NBA Feet after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more NBA Feet coverage. via ESPN.

With so many Retro releases occurring over the last few years combined with the future horizon of the Air Jordan, we as consumers are quick to forget that each Air Jordan shoe tells a story of Michael’s past that has shaped his own legacy and the future of the National Basketball Association. The truth is, tomorrow’s Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ is one of the last remaining ‘un-touched’ original Air Jordans, but seventeen years is enough time for these to make a return. For those uncertain of the rich plot behind the Chicago X, here’s a reminder; after being away from the NBA for eighteen months, Michael had the itch for competition and returned to the Bulls roster in time for a game against the Indiana Pacers – while wearing the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’. If you’re uncertain about picking these up tomorrow, these new images may sway your decision, so check out the gallery below and look out for these tomorrow at Jordan Brand retailers or from soleoriginal on eBay.
