This project sees him again grabbing at the Air Jordan X, with Saved by the Bell being the TV paid homage to this time around. Depending on your age, you should be able to recognize the various pastel 90s patterns decorating the sneaker, along with the random pre-clip art era graphics that floated around during the intro. NBA Feet: Around The League – 2/20 – 2/21

nba feet 2 22 12 NBA Feet: Around The League 2/20 2/21

Just two more days until the NBA All-Star Weekend arrives (you know, the All-Star Weekend that almost didn’t happen?), and the NBA sneakerheads look to close out the unofficial first half with some great on-court heat. The Golden State duo in Monta and NateRob rocked the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’, which has proven to be the perfect match with their White/Royal/Yellow jerseys. J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks got back to his laced-up ways by wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ during Monday night’s loss to the Nets. Teammate Jared Jeffries went with the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’, while fellow Jordan Brand Carmelo Anthony, who had been absent for the majority of Linsanity, wore the ‘Home’ Melo M8. Al Harrington of the Nuggets, who sported some LeBron 9 iDs, switched it up by wearing the Nike Zoom Kobe VII iD, as did Paul George of the Indiana Pacers. Another notable baller that made a return was Baron Davis, who reminded us about his Li-Ning BD Dooms. There was more wheelin’ and dealin’ in the NBA over the course of two nights as we got a look at some great match-ups (Bulls vs. Celtics) while enjoying more of the Linsanity that has taken over Madison Square Garden. Knicks phenom Jeremy Lin showed a pass-first dimension of his game, tallying 13 assists while bringing Lob City to the East Coast while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low. The Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’ continues to be a popular in-game choice as we see Jared Jeffries, Nate Robinson, and Monta Ellis ball in the recent release. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI iD still has presence as Ben Gordon and Demar DeRozan wore their respective pairs, and Ray Allen rocked Home and Away PEs of the Air Jordan 2011 A-Flight during back-to-back games. We’ve got more NBA action for you after the jump so take a look and stay tuned for a nice Weekend Recap this Monday! via Yahoo

NBA Feet: Weekend Recap – 2/10 – 2/12

nba feet 2 13 12new NBA Feet: Weekend Recap 2/10 2/12

Did any NBA ballers partake in what might be the biggest sneaker release day ever? We did spot a bunch of players wearing the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’, but that was just the tip of the iceberg because this weekend might’ve been the most heat-filled week of the season. Jordan Crawford, who has quietly built a solid rep as a sneakerhead to look out for, wore the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Metallic Red’, while new pick-up Reggie Williams of the Charlotte Bobcats wore the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Year Of The Dragon’. Other heat included Paul George’s Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Bordeaux’, while Utah youngsters C.J. Miles and Enes Kanter jazzed it up with the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’. Ray Allen wore the Air Jordan 2011 A-Flight, Chris Paul dazzled in a nice PE of the CP3.V, and Delonte West maintained the tempo with the Air Max Uptempo. Can’t end an NBA Feet without a Jeremy Lin mention, because he took down the Lakers and the T-Wolves with the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low. We’ve got a whole lot more for you below, so peep the best of the weekend after the jump and let us know who laced up the sickest kicks! via Yahoo!

Tomorrow marks one of the biggest sneaker release days of the year, with a handful of must-have releases hitting stores and causing indecision in the minds of sneakerheads. One of frontrunners of these releases is the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’, which features a white upper in tumbled and patent leather, an Old Royal blue detailing and Stealth Grey hints on the outsole and lace-straps. Another interesting note about these Air Jordan Retros is that Jordan Brand currently has them listed at $150, a price-point on Retros that we haven’t seen in quite some time. February 11, 2012: Biggest Release Day Ever?

February 10th, 2012 by | 21 comments

6e5c1118e18a1226608ca54d8bf86933 570x413 February 11, 2012: Biggest Release Day Ever?

Sure, some solitary sneaker releases like the recent Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ Retro and a few others have packed as much (or more) anticipation and frenzy, but we’re not sure if there’s ever been a date in sneaker history with so many high profile releases all dropping on the same day. Where do we start?  How about the Dave White Air Jordan 1 which has been heavily previewed and eagerly awaited while sitting in limbo without a confirmed release date? Or maybe the Nike ‘Black History Month’ Collection featuring Nike Basketball’s three-headed signature model monster and an accompanying set of four NSW offerings? Still not cracking your wallet open? Perhaps the ‘Old Royal’ Air Jordan X will change your mind. Or with Valentine’s Day on the way, maybe it will be a pair of the ‘Voltage Cherry’ Air Jordan IV GS for the lady or little lady in your life. Last but not least is the ‘Dynamic Blue’ colorway of the popular Zoom Rookie LWP model which has thus far been absent from the 2012 release schedule until now.

Quite a crop indeed, and while there is no singular release in the eleven sneakers anywhere near Concord-ian magnitude, the sum of all these parts adds up to quite possibly the most action-packed release date we’ve ever seen and a lot of difficult decisions for sneakerheads everywhere. Oh yeah, and by the way, White/Cement Air Jordan IV’s drop next Saturday and the All-Star weekend batch at the end of the month may trump this week’s bonanza. Hottest month ever? Foot Locker thinks so. Time to smash open those piggy banks and gear up for month long release mayhem, all starting tonight at midnight on NikeStore and nationwide at brick and mortar retailers like Extra Butter. Let us know what you’ll be copping tomorrow night and stay tuned to Sneaker News for all the latest on the February heatwave.
