AIR JORDAN X The Air Jordan X is the tenth sneaker in the Air Jordan legacy series, with the silhouette debuting in 1994. At the time of its release Michael Jordan had stepped away from the game of basketball, making his eventual return in 1995 in the Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ from the famed city series collection.

There’s so much heat being released this year that it’s actually getting hard to track all the high profile releases without utilizing a planner. Add in the relative ‘quiet’ built right into the name of the Air Jordan X ‘Stealth’ and you’re looking at a model that we still don’t know exactly where to pencil in. This melange of black/grey/white tones is another one of those time capsule looks for early 2012, but just how long after February’s ‘Old Royal’ we’ll have to wait remains something of a mystery. We’ve got some new images that really emphasize the contrast between the ‘Stealth’ AJ10′s various dark shades, so click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for the release date. via HoopCity

2011 saw Jordan Brand jumping in on the Black History Month motif, but they were noticeable absent from this year’s collection. With that being said, it’s easy to imagine the Air Jordan X ‘Stealth’ pictured here as a BHM release-swap in a little gold on the detailing and you’re good to go. That’s not the case though, as these are sticking with the stealthy look that comes quite opposite to the white based trend the Air Jordan X has stuck with for 2012. Follow us after the jump for some extra shots of the upcoming Air Jordan X ‘Stealth’ and check back for info on when these will hit stores. via AGS

Nothing gets a man’s blood running quicker than a woman with nice pair of…sneakers. Well, everything great about women seem to come in pairs, and seeing a certified dime laced up in a sick pair of kicks is about the best thing a sneakerhead can ask for. Over the last decade, we’ve seen some memorable ‘chicks in kicks’ spreads, from Stacy Keibler’s photoshoot with SC to Kim Kardashian’s Skechers ad campaign, and all the other great projects in between (and how can you forget the Playboy x Air Jordan countdown from last year). Complex just compiled a list of the fifty hottest female sneaker photo shoots, so don’t forget to head to Complex for the full list after you check out a quick sampling below.

Maybe we should start calling these the ‘Right Now Before It’s Too Late of Flight’, because if you don’t act quickly, these are indeed going to be history. Right as we’ve started to see preview images of a similarly-colored take on the Air Jordan XI low, the ultra exclusive promo samples curated as part of the ‘History of Flight’ touring exhibition have made their way onto the secondary market. The Air Jordan X pictured above follows the IV, VII, VIII, XII and XIV in leaking from the supremely limited ‘History of Flight’ AJ SMUs, and these offer an interesting contrast when compared to the ‘Chicago’ OG that is arguably 2012′s single biggest sneaker release to date. A colorway like this would produce an instant sellout at retail, but do you have the resources necessary to procure this particular pair before the close of this extended auction from btn_16 on eBay?

With the Air Jordan X trending so heavily these days, it’s only fitting that this sick sample surfaces today. Tomorrow will be the release of the Old Royal Air Jordan X, but our focus right now is on another pair of blue/white Air Jordan X – namely this University Blue and White sample. Many will quickly re-direct their attention to the Air Jordan Pantone 284 Collection that made headlines in 2010 when the Air Jordan celebrated its silver anniversary, but this sample is actually dated for Spring 2008, a year in which the Air Jordan celebrated a more significant milestone – the 23rd Anniversary. So could the Pantone Collection have been created in 2008, only to surface two years later? In any case, this sample is indeed different from that set as it does not feature the signature laser graphic on the upper. We’ve got a full set of images of the Air Jordan X Sample below so check out the detailed gallery and peep the auction from brokeonjordans on eBay.

Who rocked the best kicks over the last two nights? That title might go to Jordan Crawford and his Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’ in a losing effort against the Knicks, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t other heat! Quentin Richardson rocked the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’, while the Chicago counterpart popped up on a few more players like Demar DeRozan, who has been exclusive to the Kobe VI for a while. LeBron James wore the Black/Red PE of his LeBron 9 again, Jordan Hill of the Rockets wore the Air Flight ’89 in a fitting colorway, and Jeremy Lin continued the Knicks’ ‘Linning’ ways with the Hyperfuse Low. We’ve got more NBA Feet going full speed ahead so take a look below and let us know who you thought had the best kicks! via Yahoo!

A quick check at the laundry list of outstanding achievements etched onto the sole of the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’ makes it clear that these are fit for a king. And while a more recent NBA superstar may have latched on to that moniker, we all know he’s a long ways away from ever catching up with His Airness. Landing right in the middle of a crazy month for sneaker releases, this colorway grabs the standard blocking and updates it with a few tones that never made their way onto the original string of Air Jordan X releases. Material updates like the patent leather mudguard are in place as well, solidifying the sneaker’s status as a latter day retro. Follow us after the jump for a better look at the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’ and be on the lookout for these at Jordan Brand retailers like Atlanta Got Sole come this Saturday, February 11th.
