The Air Jordan XI has been a sneaker selected for formal outfits ever since Boyz II Men hit the stage in a set of Concords. Jason Sudeikis is the latest person to uphold that time-honored tradition, breaking out a pair of the Air Jordan XI “Bred” at last night’s 2013 Met Gala event uptown in NYC (He even matched them up with his pocket square for extra points). News of the Air Jordan XI “Bred” restock was a wish come true for many who missed out this past December. Things are about to get literal as these high-profile Air Jordans will in fact return at Wish in Atlanta, GA, but what’s more significant about this update is that this restock might be wider than originally reported. We know Nikestore, Foot Locker, and Footaction will be getting these on Saturday, but perhaps more independently owned boutiques will be getting ‘em as well. Most of you are probably pumped about the Air Jordan XI “Bred” restock. These customs are almost a visual interpretation of that statement. The man responsible for that crazy ‘Grinch’ custom of the Air Jordan IV hits us with another Frankenstein of a creation, which we must say spells out a better definition of ‘custom’ than any repainted sneaker we’ve seen before. The Air Jordan XI “Bred Pump” by Freaker Sneaks features the revolutionary Reebok Pump module attached to the Air Jordan XI, creating an air-filled Pump bladder for that added lockdown fit, but it’s the sheer design of this unique concoction that should coerce a response – both positive and negative. Another alteration that may not be so noticeable is the new lace eyelet that replace the classic hoop (a personal preference of the customizer). These have been completed for some time, but it’s still an incredible concept that shouldn’t go unnoticed, so check out the images below and let us know what you think about this redefined “Air” Jordan XI.

If the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ isn’t quite dark enough for you then we’ve got a solution courtesy of Noldo. The sneaker customizer wiped out the white section for the midsole, replacing said section with a jet black that actually has the sneaker looking even more black (With the same amount of red). The Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ will be restocked next Saturday, March 23rd. Over the weekend, retailers like Foot Action announced that they would have pairs back in stock, but it looks like the fun doesn’t stop there. Nikestore is listing a restock of the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ that will go down next Saturday, March 23rd, presumably at the standard 8AM EST.
