The annual Air Jordan XI release is arriving in less than two weeks, with December 21st being the official release date set forth by Jordan Brand this year. This should give you a little bit more time to track them down if you’re trying to lace your friends and family with patent leather goodness, but it appears that retailer Social Status is gonna get a head start of the official release date and drop their stock on December 15th. He definitely has his hands on the sneakers already, showing support for his friend Skylar Diggins last night at the Notre Dame/Baylor womens basketball game while rocking the upcoming Air Jordan XI. This past Friday’s release of the Bred IV was a wondrous event, but for some, it’s not even the best Retro release of the year. That distinction goes to the late-December drop of the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’, but for those already zeroed in on the release, there’s something else you can consider – the Jordan Alpha Float Premier. Although the seasonal climate may not be the best time to wear open-toed shoes, these slip-ons are perfect for those in warmer areas, or just to wear around the house. A heat-filled weekend of NBA Feet in the form of Air Jordans, Foamposites, LeBrons, and others, so let’s get right to it! Rajon Rondo broke necks with Foamposites again with the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Stealth’, and in the Barclay’s Center debut, Joe Johnson and Demar DeRozan faced off with the Bred IV and Raging Bull V, respectively. In two games, LeBron rocked the ‘Away’ LeBron X and the ‘Home’ Floridians colorway, while other LeBrons made in on court, like George Hill’s LeBron 9 and DeMarcus Cousins’ strap-less Soldier 6. Perhaps the best sighting was Jared Jeffries’ Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’, which matched the Blazers uniforms perfectly!
