Celebrity Feet: Chris Tucker Air Jordan XI Concord

Even if you’re not familiar with Chris Tucker’s work, you’re probably familiar with his voice. Tucker’s played some of the most boisterous, cacophonous, and hilarious characters in movie history, like Smokey from the Friday franchise and Detective Carter in the Rush Hour saga, and his success has led him to becoming one of the highest-paid black actors in the history of film industry. That’ll certainly direct you to courtside seats for Laker games, where he was spotted this past Monday during the Laker/Mavericks game. Tucker was spotted wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, matching casual Monday-night attire consisting of jeans, a leather jacket and a NBA West All-Star hat.  Check out Tucker and his Jordans below and let us know what your favorite Chris Tucker movie is! via ESPN.

Air Jordan XI Concord C.C. Sabathia Turf Trainer PE

We hope you didn’t miss out on C.C.’s Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ PE Cleats from the other night, but if you did, there’s an even better treat here – the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ Turf Trainer PE for the Yankees’ pitching behemoth. C.C.’s massive frame should qualify him to play O-Line for an NFL team, and wearing these Concords PEs would certainly be fitting for on-field conditions, wouldn’t they? Jordan Brand kept it as accurate as possible by keeping the turf-ready outsole translucent like the original, but what makes these stand out is the red Jumpman used on the Jumpman Jordan stripe on the tongue. So maybe ‘Concord’ isn’t the right moniker for these PEs, but it’ll stick for now. We’ve got a gallery of images for you below, so take a look and check out the listing from tatfortat on eBay.

How To Restore Your Air Jordan XI Concords

The release of the Air Jordan XI Concords sent shockwaves across the nation. Chances are your local news-station reported a story on the release, which is proof enough that kicks are no longer a ‘sub-culture’, but rather the mainstream. What makes the Concords so special is that it was the first pair of Air Jordan XIs (deemed one of the greatest Air Jordans ever) that Michael wore, and it’s been eleven long years since we last had the opportunity to cop a pair. If you’re still holding onto your ’00 Retros or have put the new ones into rotation, you’ve probably sustained some dirt, yellowing or worse, but here we have a nice and simple way to refresh ‘em enough to get them back to their neck-breaking state. A few weeks back, we worked with Foot Locker Unlocked on a great restoration DIY feature with before-and-after comparison shots. The feature is viewable only to those with Foot Locker VIP Access, so in addition to seeing the Concord cleaning tips story in its entirety,  VIP membership will also provide you with special product info and promotions and exclusive access to products and events. Head to Foot Locker Unlocked now to become a Foot Locker VIP and to learn how to keep your Concords eternally crispy.

Celebrity Feet: Wale Air Jordan XI Concord

Was there ever any doubt that DMV rapper Wale would eventually show up here rocking the Air Jordan XI Concord? His crazy collection has been documented on this website, as well as in his own referential lyrics, so it was only a matter of time before he popped up rocking the most sought after Air Jordan release from 2011. Never one to OD with a matching fit, Wale rocks an all-grey sweatsuit here and a jumbo Versace scarf obscuring his face a little bit. Stick with us after the jump and let us know your predictions for what sneaker Wale will be spotted in next.

Complexs Greatest Off Court Michael Jordan Sneaker Moments

Yesterday, we gave you a look at the latest Complex compilation, a series of sneaker shots from the illustrious career of Sir Charles Barkley. Chuck’s footwear is pretty serious, but anyone is bound to stand in the shadows when compared to MJ himself. Of course a list including in game shots would be limitless, so Complex has put together this selection of Michael Jordan’s greatest off-court sneaker moments, capturing him in a more casual element. There is of course a murderer’s row of OG Air Jordan models in the mix, but what really stands out are the other Swoosh sneakers the young Michael popped up in throughout the years. Catch him at a press conference rocking OG Nike Air Huarahce’s, or meeting up with some fans in the Nike Air Trainer SC II. The gallery is a must see and a true testament to the 90′s glory of Nike design, so check out some samples we’ve picked from the pack after the jump and hit up Complex for the full feature. Also check out our Michael Jordan Through the Years segment for more candid photos of MJ beyond the hardwood.

Celebrity Feet: Victor Cruz Air Jordan XI Concord

Move aside, Melo, STAT, Tyson, Jeter, Callahan, Gaborik, etc. – there is no hotter New York team athlete than Victor Cruz, the undrafted free agent turned electrifying superstar Wide Receiver for the New York Giants. After putting up outstanding numbers in the Division-clinching game against the Dallas Cowboys, Victor Cruz treated himself to courtside seats to last night’s Knicks/Raptors contest, drawing applause from the crowd and practicing his signature salsa TD dance with Knicks reporter Jill Martin. Cruz was seen wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, but don’t mistake him for wearing what’s ‘hot’, because he’s been in the sneaker game for quite some time. Check out Cruz and his Concords after the jump and let us know if you think the Giants have what it takes to repeat their Superbowl XLII glory. via ESPN.

Kick Draw Sneaker Art

Dave White has made an internationally recognized name with his sneaker art for his signature side-profile, paint-splattered imagery. Do we have another Dave White on our hands? Sneaker News just stumbled upon Kick Draw, a tumblr account featuring new drawings of some of the most historic sneakers of all time. The left-shoe profile shots are done in photo-realistic cartoon-ish styles, with solid-colored backgrounds providing a nice contrast. It appears that the author/illustrator updates with ‘trending’ sneakers, as he’s recently updated with the Jordan CP3.V (releasing next week), the Nike Zoom KD IV (released early December), and the adidas adiPower Howard (released November). Of course, he’s got a ton of other great stuff – Air Jordans, Air Yeezys, Reeboks, etc. – so take a look at some of the highlights below and check out Kick Draw now!

NBA Feet: Monta Ellis Air Jordan XI Concord

Is Monta Ellis the ‘Gilbert Arenas’ of the 2011-12 NBA Season? Gilbert stole the NBA show last year by wearing a sick pair of sneakers for nearly every game. Without an shoe contract keeping him to the confines of one logo, Agent Zero went haywire and broke out Jordan Retros, Nike Retros, Reeboks, and even a pair of Dolce & Gabbana luxury high-tops. Golden State Warriors’ scoring beast Monta Ellis could very well take that role this year, as he was spotted during NBA Media Day wearing the Air Jordan 8.0. Hardly a newsworthy sighting, but Monta was an AND1 fella for some time, and his switch over the Air Jordans could spell out an interesting story arc for this season. Just last night, Monta wore the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, proving that white and/or black matches with anything. Check out Monta’s Concords below and let us know if you think Monta’s got a sick collection! via Yahoo!.
