AIR JORDAN XI CONCORD The Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ is a colorway of the eleventh Air Jordan sneaker so named for the color featured on the tongue area Jumpman and outsole of the shoe. Move aside, Melo, STAT, Tyson, Jeter, Callahan, Gaborik, etc. – there is no hotter New York team athlete than Victor Cruz, the undrafted free agent turned electrifying superstar Wide Receiver for the New York Giants. After putting up outstanding numbers in the Division-clinching game against the Dallas Cowboys, Victor Cruz treated himself to courtside seats to last night’s Knicks/Raptors contest, drawing applause from the crowd and practicing his signature salsa TD dance with Knicks reporter Jill Martin. Cruz was seen wearing the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, but don’t mistake him for wearing what’s ‘hot’, because he’s been in the sneaker game for quite some time. Check out Cruz and his Concords after the jump and let us know if you think the Giants have what it takes to repeat their Superbowl XLII glory. via ESPN.

NBA Feet: Monta Ellis – Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’

nba feet monta ellis air jordan xi concord 6 NBA Feet: Monta Ellis Air Jordan XI Concord

Is Monta Ellis the ‘Gilbert Arenas’ of the 2011-12 NBA Season? Gilbert stole the NBA show last year by wearing a sick pair of sneakers for nearly every game. Without an shoe contract keeping him to the confines of one logo, Agent Zero went haywire and broke out Jordan Retros, Nike Retros, Reeboks, and even a pair of Dolce & Gabbana luxury high-tops. Golden State Warriors’ scoring beast Monta Ellis could very well take that role this year, as he was spotted during NBA Media Day wearing the Air Jordan 8.0. Hardly a newsworthy sighting, but Monta was an AND1 fella for some time, and his switch over the Air Jordans could spell out an interesting story arc for this season. Just last night, Monta wore the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, proving that white and/or black matches with anything. Check out Monta’s Concords below and let us know if you think Monta’s got a sick collection! via Yahoo!.

The Washington Wizards made some noise as Reebok’s marquee athlete John Wall sported some fresh new Zig Encores, while teammate Jordan Crawford broke out the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’. Paul George of the Indiana Pacers rocked the Concord XIs, while teammate George Hill, who has shown a liking to Nike LeBron comfort, wore the original Zoom LeBron Soldier. air jordan xi low concord bred six rings 1 Air Jordan XI Low Concord + Bred Six Rings Edition

The Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ was the unrivaled juggernaut drop of the 2011 holiday sneaker rush, and while most sneakerheads were focused on the release a few days back, this week also a brought a look at two low-cut versions of the popular model that stirred up some buzz of their own. One of the XI Lows that was previewed featured a traditional ‘Concord‘ color scheme, while the other also stuck to a tried and true formula with a tasty ‘Bred‘ version. Not much was known about the potential future of the samples, but now a little more light has been shed, along with this look at some interesting special edition versions of the shoes.

NikeTalk member, NikeDealer was lucky enough to be on the scene when two mysterious Jordan boxes showed up to the house of well-known celebrity sneakerhead, Chi McBride. The contents of the standard issue JB boxes were anything but standard, as a look inside revealed two pairs of the upcoming 2012 Air Jordan XI Lows, specially customized by the package’s senders, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith. Both pairs feature gold laminate graphics on the tongues displaying each of Michael Jordan’s six championship rings, along with some Bin23-ish wooden inserts inside the shoes. The six rings detailing will not appear when these go to retail, but you can probably expect to see the leather uppers replacing the usual XI mesh and the red lining instead of black on the Bred pair. No word yet on when in 2012 these will drop, but for now, take a look at Chi’s special editions and let us know what you think.
