For as long as we can remember, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were a “Batman and Robin” partnership – without the tragedy, power struggles, character turns, etc.. Together, they won six NBA Championships, played in five NBA All-Star Games, and won an Olympic Gold Medal – essentially creating an unstoppable one-two punch that was oft-duplicated without nearly the same amount of success. Both players embarked on different journeys once they parted from the Bulls in the Summer of ’98, and although Pippen’s experienced life with Jordan in ’94 and most of ’95, seeing Pippen and Jordan go against in one another was a sight to be seen – and certainly one of the most anticipated sporting events once Jordan made his Wizards comeback in 2001. Re-live this classic memory in Michael’s career in tonight’s Sneaker News: Was It The Shoes? and check out what Jordan was wearing on the night of their first match-up!

Better watch out for the Toronto Raptors – they’re heating things up! On Monday night, DeRozan wore the Air Jordan V ‘Fire Red’, joined by Amir Johnson in the Chicago X and Dominic McGuire in the Cool Grey XI. Melo kept the Knicks perfect with the Melo M8 Advance, while LeBron kept the Heat on a roll with the LeBron X ‘Pressure’. Shannon Brown whipped out the Team Brown Hyperposites while LaMarcus show him what the PE game is like. But among all the hot sneaker sightings, none was as surprising as Jerry Stackhouse, who wore the Fila Stack Mid during a Nets Home game. More of NBA Feet below, so peep the high-res gallery and stay tuned to Sneaker News for the best in NBA Feet!

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has been owning the Air Jordan on-field PE category this season with his Air Jordan XI/XII exclusives, but let’s not forget the big-man in pinstripes is the true dominant Air Jordan force in the league! We’ve seen C.C. rock the cleated Cool Greys before, and based on the considerable number of game-worn joints that have somehow managed to fall into certain hands, it’s like Sabathia wears ‘em and tosses them! This pair, however, is completely brand new, ‘tainted’ only by the Ace’s autographs on the toe-box. We’ve got a gallery of images for you below, so check ‘em out and head to the listing from bluphi1 on eBay.

Earlier, we showed you what spicy kicks Gilbert Arenas wore during his second game with the Grizzlies – the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid ‘Sony Playstation’, but that certainly was not all the icing on the cake! Big-man DeJuan Blair of the Spurs went H.A.M. this weekend with Jordans, rotating the Space Jams, Cool Grey, and White/Cement IV (wearing the latter two in the same game). Paul George rocked the Electrolime Foamposites again, while Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade debuted the Jordan Fly Wade Flight PO that featured a special message for the slain Trayvon Martin. Still plenty more to see below, so take a look and let us know who wins the crown for the past weekend! via espn

C.C. Sabathia has had the honor of being the Opening Day starter for the New York Yankees for three straight seasons (and eight out of nine overall including his time with the Indians). Unfortunately, the Yankees are 1-2 when C.C. starts Opening Day, but at least he wears some dope cleats! Here’s a look at the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ that C.C. wore during his start against the Boston Red Sox on April 4th, 2010; these cleats are bit higher-cut than the released basketball version and also features a unique baseball-specific midsole and spikes. Will C.C. start for the Yankees again in 2012? As of now, it certainly appears so. Check out the gallery below and if you want to throw a bid in for these PEs, hit up the listing from 13alexrodriguez on eBay.

Yesterday, we gave you a look at the latest Complex compilation, a series of sneaker shots from the illustrious career of Sir Charles Barkley. Chuck’s footwear is pretty serious, but anyone is bound to stand in the shadows when compared to MJ himself. Of course a list including in game shots would be limitless, so Complex has put together this selection of Michael Jordan’s greatest off-court sneaker moments, capturing him in a more casual element. There is of course a murderer’s row of OG Air Jordan models in the mix, but what really stands out are the other Swoosh sneakers the young Michael popped up in throughout the years. Catch him at a press conference rocking OG Nike Air Huarahce’s, or meeting up with some fans in the Nike Air Trainer SC II. The gallery is a must see and a true testament to the 90′s glory of Nike design, so check out some samples we’ve picked from the pack after the jump and hit up Complex for the full feature. Also check out our Michael Jordan Through the Years segment for more candid photos of MJ beyond the hardwood.

The Charlotte Bobcats have big roster holes to fill, and with the 9th and 19th selections in the 2011 NBA Draft, the franchise can’t waste this opportunity. Bobcats part-owner Michael Jordan was present for the Charlotte Bobcats’ pre-draft workout, which included Morehead State’s Kenneth Faried, Southern Cal’s Alex Stephen, Clemson’s Demontez Stitt, and other First-Round hopefuls, but our attention goes back to Michael Jordan and the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ that he casually wore during the workout. Check out Jordan in his Air Himself XI ‘Cool Grey’ after the jump and let us know what you think. via Complex/NBA.
