Amidst all the Air Jordan XI “Space Jam” madness that went down back in 2009, Marcus Jordan was one of those folks who didn’t have to worry one bit about whether or not he’d be getting a pair. Upon that acquisition he apparently had to do a little bit of customizing though, blacking out the Jumpman logo on the back end for school uniform purposes to make his own sort of player exclusive. Most of you are probably pumped about the Air Jordan XI “Bred” restock. These customs are almost a visual interpretation of that statement. The man responsible for that crazy ‘Grinch’ custom of the Air Jordan IV hits us with another Frankenstein of a creation, which we must say spells out a better definition of ‘custom’ than any repainted sneaker we’ve seen before. The Air Jordan XI “Bred Pump” by Freaker Sneaks features the revolutionary Reebok Pump module attached to the Air Jordan XI, creating an air-filled Pump bladder for that added lockdown fit, but it’s the sheer design of this unique concoction that should coerce a response – both positive and negative. Another alteration that may not be so noticeable is the new lace eyelet that replace the classic hoop (a personal preference of the customizer). These have been completed for some time, but it’s still an incredible concept that shouldn’t go unnoticed, so check out the images below and let us know what you think about this redefined “Air” Jordan XI.

If the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ isn’t quite dark enough for you then we’ve got a solution courtesy of Noldo. The sneaker customizer wiped out the white section for the midsole, replacing said section with a jet black that actually has the sneaker looking even more black (With the same amount of red). That brand new Air Jordan XI colorway that you heard about for Holiday 2013 is revealed at last. The colorway kind of looks like a ‘Laney’ tribute, perhaps tying in with a handful of other ‘Laney’ flavored retro releases coming for the last part of this year. As you can see, the black base of the Air Jordan XI is boosted by a bit of blue, along with some varsity maize running across the lacing system. In fact, said black base looks a lot like the Air Jordan XI ‘Blackout’ samples that cause such a stir upon their arrival. The Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ will be restocked next Saturday, March 23rd. Over the weekend, retailers like Foot Action announced that they would have pairs back in stock, but it looks like the fun doesn’t stop there. Nikestore is listing a restock of the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ that will go down next Saturday, March 23rd, presumably at the standard 8AM EST.
