Sneaker News: Was It The Shoes? has focused on the many great shots and scoring outputs Michael has produced over his career, but Jordan certainly was not a one-trick pony. Sure, he was the greatest scorer of all-time, but he’s got top-notch defense that earned him plenty of accolades and for a man who draws so much of the attention of the opposing defense, his passing was as much of a dangerous weapon as his shooting touch was. One pass, in particular, stands out the most; it’s perhaps the reason why the Chicago Bulls was able to win a second-straight NBA Title after MJ made his come-back. Read on for tonight’s Was It The Shoes? feature and let us know if this pass is one of Michael’s greatest career highlights.

Mike Bibby‘s got PE’s from all over the league, most of his special Air Jordan colorups coming in low-top form. And while this pair is indeed a low top, it doesn’t fit the typical bill in that it’s not an NBA colorway, rather an Olympic outtake from the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens. Bibby ended up with an injury that year and didn’t get to play on that international stage, sort of sweeping this slick player exclusive under the rug of history. Click through to check out the Air Jordan XII Low Mike Bibby 2004 Olympics PE and check out the price now from dredd44 on eBay.

Have you ever had to make a massive move and whittle down your sneaker collection to a fraction of what it once was? We’re pretty sure that he didn’t do away with the rest of his collection, but it looks like Gilbert Arenas had to go through that sort of agonizing packing for his recent move out to China. It’s been on-field madness for the two turf/grass-sports in 2012, as we get a look at another non-NBA player rocking some amazing PE sweetness. C.C. Sabathia ain’t new to the PE game, but his two Air Jordan XII Cleats that he’s been wearing over the last few weeks deserves ample attention; a ‘Home’ version matching a Yankee navy blue upper with a white leather mudguard, while the ‘Away’ does the same with a grey mudguard. A closer look reveals that this particular PE pair features a Max Air heel-unit (pivotal to carry C.C.’s immense frame!). A complete look at Sabathia’s Air Jordan 12 PE Cleats is right ahead so take a look and let us know if you think the Yankees will pull off another AL East title come season’s end!

It’s not all that common that you can get your hands on Air Jordan heat months after you missed the release date, and House of Hoops has you covered just in time for that last-minute back to school push. Three of this year’s Air Jordan Retros will be available when malls around the country open their doors this morning, with a more exclusive list adding a fourth in the ‘Olympic’ Air Jordan VI. Let us know if you plan on grabbing those, or if it’ll be the ‘Cool Grey’ or ‘Obsidian’ Air Jordan 12s, and/or the ‘Military’ Fours, and stick with Sneaker News for all your Air Jordan release date needs.

Mike Bibby’s vast collection of Air Jordan player exclusives is a lower hitting group more often than not, with a good number of his PE sneaks being chopped down versions of legacy series silhouettes. Heck he’s even got the Jordan Melo M8 in a low, something Melo himself doesn’t even have his hands on as far as we’ve seen. This pair we’ve just uncovered breaks from that norm, coming in the standard height with a red, white, and navy colorway made to match with his home gear during his stay with the Atlanta Hawks. Click through with us to check out the Air Jordan XII Atlanta Hawks Mike Bibby PE and if you like what you see then add this pair to your collection courtesy of innovative_shopping_concepts on eBay.
