The ‘Bred’ Air Jordan XIII from next year has been pretty visible in recent weeks, but let’s not forgot that there are a couple colorways set to break the mold and stray away from the OG side of things. This is one of them, the Air Jordan XIII ‘Squadron Blue’, with electric yellow and black playing the supporting roles on the sneaker. The pair will make its way to retailers come February, the 9th to be exact. Fresh off this weekend’s release of one of the most hotly anticipated Air Jordan Retros of 2012 in commemoration of Michael’s second Olympic gold medal comes a look into next year’s run of models from his last NBA Championship season. The Air Jordan 13 will return next spring with one of its original colorways and another that takes that pair’s distinctive dimpled ballistic nylon panels in a different direction. The first is the ‘Bred’ Air Jordan XIII Retro that would have been nicknamed ‘Last Shot’ had Mike not reached into the future during a title run he must have sensed was his last. The second is the brand new ‘Squadron Blue’ edition, sporting a tonal build reminiscent of the 2010 ‘Altitude’ revision.
