The emphasized concentration on the younger female Jordan fans continues with this release of the ‘Desert Pink’ Air Jordan XIV Retro. This year has been rife with Girls-only releases, like the ‘Strawberry Splash’ Pack that dropped during the Fall 2011 season, and even the upcoming Spring 2012 season boasts the ‘Voltage Cherry’ Air Jordan IV, which features a tonal cherry red upper. Here’s another detailed look at the Air Jordan XIV ‘Desert Pink’; it features that ‘Last Shot’ colorblocking with the femme-friendly color replacing the Bulls-specific Red, and the glossy croc-skin on the toe and heel adds that ‘high end’ appeal that would certainly be appreciated by the ladies. Asian retailers like Dunk are beginning to stock these, so expect these to hit U.S. retailers soon if your local spot hasn’t received them yet.

Sneaker News gave you a look at a Girls-only colorway of the Air Jordan XIV – a Black/Pink colorway blocked similarly to the ‘Last Shot’ XIV that is set for a December release. Here we have a first detailed look at this release; the toe-box and heel panel features a glossy faux-crocskin material paired with a nubuck upper in the center panel. At the midsole is the ‘body kit’ painted in pink, matching the inner lining and well as the rubber heel of the shoe. The Air Jordan XIV is rather inviting when it comes to easy color-blocking (imagine a team-based set of XIVs), making this Black/Pink colorway one of the better Retro+ releases we’ve seen in a while. These are expected to hit Jordan Brand retailers this month so take a look below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates. via pump306.

The Air Jordan XIV will make a triumphant return this Holiday 2011 season as the new ‘Light Graphite’ colorway (October) and the career-defining ‘Last Shot’ (December) will make its way to store shelves. Also dropping in time for the gift-giving season is this new girl’s-only version of the Jordan XIV in a black/pink colorway; the upper combines soft nubuck with a glossy finish on the toe and the heel with the vivid pink tone colorizing the ‘body kit’ of the midsole as well as the inner lining, rubber heel, and the sports-car inspired logo. Back in 2005, when the Air Jordan XIV was finally re-issued, Jordan Brand released a womens colorway of Black and Pink, although the upper was entirely black and featured just minor hints of pink. Expect this Air Jordan XIV GS releaseto hit this November at Jordan retailers like Villa, and let us know what you think of this new colorway.
