AIR JORDAN XIV The Air Jordan XIV originally released in 1998, boasting a Ferrari influenced design that served as an homage to Michael Jordan’s love for motorsports. The most beloved colorway of this late-era Tinker Hatfield model was the ‘Last Shot’, a black and red pair made famous by MJ during that iconic moment where he hit the winning shot in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals to win the Championship; said shot would be his last as a Chicago Bull.

Unofficial Air Jordan PE Cleat Week continues as we get a look at yet another pair of modified Air Jordans – this time the White/Green Air Jordan XIV made for former Green Bay Packer Ahman Green. The colorway itself looks rather familiar because although it does match the Packers uni, we’re instantly reminded of the White/Green Retro colorway of the XIV that hit stores in 2005 (which, coincidentally, is when these Player Exclusives were issued). Like what you see, or do you Sapp’s ‘Space Jams’ or C.C.’s ‘Cool Grey’ from previous nights more? Check out the extra angles below and bid on ‘em right now in the listing from trenchkicks on eBay.

It all started with that Air Jordan IV, showing up with the monochrome blocking on top that was unlike any Air Jordan colorway we’d seen before. After that the Air Jordan XVI and Air Jordan XII did the same, suggesting that the super colorful pairs were part of some over-arching theme never to make it to retail, sort of in the same vein as the ‘History of Flight’ or ‘Pantone’ series. Well folks, Pandora’s box has officially been opened-it turns out the set spans quite the range, starting at the Air Jordan 1 and reaching all the way up to last year’s Air Jordan 2011, created strictly for display purposes in the Spring 2011 season just like the aforementioned collections. Every two pairs along the way sports a slightly different shade, with the 25 separate models included pretty much spanning what the rainbow has to offer. Hit the jump with us to check out the crazy Air Jordan ‘Rainbow Pack’ courtesy of brokeonjordans on eBay and let us know which pair among them you like the most. Photos: brokeonjordans

This past weekend was likely one of the most action-packed weekends we’ve experienced thus far in 2012. With the NCAA student-athletes battling it out for Conference supremacy, the NBA ballers turned up the intensity as each game plays a larger role in Playoff seedings and building of momentum. James Harden exploded for the Thunder, scoring 33 off the bench while wearing a nice ‘Pop Art’-esque colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low. Ty Lawson continued his mission to rock every LeBron 9 by wearing the Nike LeBron 9 ‘All-Star’. The Washington Wizards, who have displayed the best overall ‘Feet’ of the season, were led by Andray Blatche and his Air Jordan V ‘USA‘. The biggest NBA headline came from the Miami Heat, as Dwyane Wade did his best ‘Last Shot’ impression, beating the Pacers at the buzzer wearing the Air Jordan XIV. We’ve got a complete recap of this weekend’s events so take a look and let us know what you think! via ESPN

Earlier this week, Sneaker News introduced the ‘On The Fence’ segment, allowing our readers to discuss the “cop or pass” scenario of some noteworthy sneakers. While you should have no regrets in picking up tomorrow’s release of the Air Jordan XIV, there’s no doubt that this release hasn’t had as much sneakerhead fervor as the White/Cement IV or even the Chicago X. Will we be surprised and see these fly off the shelves like the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’ did? Unfortunately, there’s not much time to think about it because these will indeed hit stores tomorrow, and at midnight on Nikestore. If you’ve made your decision, let us know in the comments section below, and if you’re ready to make a purchase of these Quickstrikes, snag ‘em right now from yellownsxt on eBay.
