Spotted at the Nike World Basketball Festival in Chicago last month with this jaw-dropping display of Air Jordans from 1 through 2012. It makes complete sense that Jordan Brand selected this base of White and Red, because Chicago is, after all, Michael Jordan’s “home” city. You may have seen similar iterations of the Air Jordan Legacy in this pristine white/red composition, and if you happened to stop by the Nike WBF in the Chi, you probably caught these in the Jordan Brand experience space. Get a look at all 27 Air Jordans below and let us know which pair looks best in this “Home” look!

blue air jordans True Blue: A Look Back at Blue Air Jordans

This summer is a big one for blue Air Jordans: the Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” is leading the charge as the cherished original colorway sparking the movement and pairs like the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 14, and plenty of ancillary Jordan Brand styles have followed suit. Of course if you know your Air Jordan history, you know that there have been blue shoes in the mix since day one, and throughout the years, there have been plenty of different reasons for Jordan Brand’s sneakers to sport blue (No pun intended).

Air Jordan 19 – Ray Allen “Sonics” PE

July 17th, 2014 by | No comments

air jordan 19 ray allen sonics pe 01 570x425 Air Jordan 19 Ray Allen Sonics PE

What jersey will hang above the name Ray Allen‘s name in the Basketball Hall of Fame? There’s the argument that his shot in the 2013 NBA Finals deserves a Heat reference in the Hall, or his first title with the original Boston Celtics Big Three should have a kelly green jersey added. When thinking of Jesus Shuttlesworth in the NBA, one of his more forgotten stints would be his time with the Seattle Supersonics. His PEs from that era were fairly diverse, and this Air Jordan XIX furthers that point thanks to a mismatched black patent leather on the toebox and mesh cage while a mustard yellow appears in accents. While his Air Jordan XIX SE featured a more Sonics ready theme, this pair gets a simple ‘Ray 34′ stitching on the back heel strap. What do you think? Hit the click for more and pick up this rare player exclusive via deadstock.la on eBay.

One of the biggest attractions at Nike DC that opened last October is this amazing display of Air Jordans done up in classic Georgetown Hoyas colors. Located on the top-most floor, this great display stands opposite of the Jordan section, giving customers an exclusive museum-like exhibit alongside the retail experience. While we were in-store for the Nike KD VI iD preview session, we took a quick moment to snap some photos of this legacy of Air Jordans inspired by the basketball powerhouse school located just minutes away. Luckily, after visiting Nike DC, we stopped by Georgetown University to chat with legendary hoops coach John Thompson and his son John Thompson Jr., who is currently the Hoyas head coach. Check out the gallery of each individual Air Jordan from the set and let us know which you like best.
