Spotted at the Nike World Basketball Festival in Chicago last month with this jaw-dropping display of Air Jordans from 1 through 2012. It makes complete sense that Jordan Brand selected this base of White and Red, because Chicago is, after all, Michael Jordan’s “home” city. You may have seen similar iterations of the Air Jordan Legacy in this pristine white/red composition, and if you happened to stop by the Nike WBF in the Chi, you probably caught these in the Jordan Brand experience space. Get a look at all 27 Air Jordans below and let us know which pair looks best in this “Home” look!

Redditor Looks Back At His Membership in the Jordan Brand Flight Club

jordan 3 eminem flight club 2008 Redditor Looks Back At His Membership in the Jordan Brand Flight Club

In the mid-late 2000s, Jordan Brand began Flight Club, an internet campaign that welcomed loyal customers to an exclusive online hub featuring a virtual Michael Jordan “trophy room” and much more. Anyone who remembers being part of the Flight Club will recognize the exclusive releases that were dropped (the Air Jordan 15 and the Air Jordan 2 “Eminem” being the most notable), but being a member of the Flight Club had its perks, apparently. Redditor pickyourbeard gave the r/sneakers sub a first-hand account about his membership at Flight Club, which eventually became defunct in 2009.

The Jordan Flight Club has recently extended to a group of Jordan Brand fanatics on Instagram (you’ll see them dropping some exclusive photos here and there). It seems that “Flight Club” is just an anchored label for these types of outreach initiatives, because the name actually originated in the late 1980s when Nike handed out mail-in postcards to anyone who wanted in. Just a note: Jordan Brand Flight Club has no affiliation with the sneaker consignment shop of the same name. Read the entire piece on Reddit¬†and let us know if you think Jordan Brand should open up another members-only club of this nature.

blue air jordans True Blue: A Look Back at Blue Air Jordans

This summer is a big one for blue Air Jordans: the Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” is leading the charge as the cherished original colorway sparking the movement and pairs like the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 14, and plenty of ancillary Jordan Brand styles have followed suit. Of course if you know your Air Jordan history, you know that there have been blue shoes in the mix since day one, and throughout the years, there have been plenty of different reasons for Jordan Brand’s sneakers to sport blue (No pun intended).

Did you know that there was a string of Air Jordan XV pairs released exclusively at Eastbay back in 2000? Apparently the set was originally intended for NCAA and NBA players, but eventually found its way to that massive footwear retailer. Shown here is a white/black pair from the set, which gets even more confusing in terms of origin with that Nike Employee Store stamp that shoes up on the tag. Continue reading to get educated on this rare pair of Air Jordans and then check out the rare chance to add them to your collection from danposite on ebay.

best jordan retros Close Calls: 10 Air Jordan Retros That Could Pass as OGs

With Air Jordans and just about every other sneaker you’d want to collect, the original releases are among the most valuable. OG Jordans have the mystique of premium quality from a bygone era. The top-notch materials themselves along with the fact that those classic pairs feature the ‘NIKE AIR’ branding that remains elusive on Retros, means that serious sneakerheads have either worn or stockpiled every pair out there with demand well exceeding supply. Just a few days ago, we saw the asking price for an original set of Air Jordan VIs with fully wearable sole swaps average over $1000/pair.

You might already know this, but it cannot be overstated: the Air Jordan line is the most influential signature shoe series ever.
