Jordan Brand apparently has quite the set up out at the Houston Galleria for the 2013 NBA All-Star weekend, one that features a good number of never before seen Air Jordan XX8 colorways on display. The latest that we’ve spotted is the Air Jordan XX8 ‘Hardwood’ shown here, which plants a wood grain look on the heel area support piece. What’s more, the sneaker has a different bootie construction for the upper-sporting the ventilated look in the same vein as Russell Westbrook’s recent PE pair. You’ve already seen that the Air Jordan XX8 can go graphic thanks to the various camo pairs, but it turns out that’s not all that the Jordan Brand team has cooked up in terms of prints for the bootie upper. Currently on display out in Houston for their NBA All-Star setup are even more pairs in that vein, including the tribute versions shown here. There’s one with a blown up red and black elephant print and one that extends the frantic camo style of the Air Jordan VIII. Valentine’s Day is all about love and hearts, but the match-up between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder wasn’t exactly a night out on the town. Miami took home yet another W against their 2012 NBA Finals opponents, but at least the Thunder get some style points thanks to Russell Westbrook’s Air Jordan XX8 ‘OKC’ PE. Featuring an all-white upper with detailed perforations on the upper with a matching ‘OKC’ mix of Photo Blue and Orange on the outsole and inner bootie. The mysterious blue colorway of the Air Jordan XX8 is ready to burst out of the gate as four of the NCAA’s Jordan Brand teams will showcase this model this week in alignment with the official launch. The UNC Tar Heels, California Bears, Georgetown Hoyas, and Marquette Golden Eagles will wear the Air Jordan XX8 for four days beginning tonight; all teams will wear the Blue colorway, while the Georgetown Hoyas will stick with the stealthy Black version. An official look at the all-new Air Jordan XX8 is here, presented in three angles – a side profile with it fully zipped up, a quarter angle shot with it zipped down, and a look at the sole and the outlines of the Zoom Air cushioning. At $250 retail, consumers have been debating the value of the Air Jordan XX8, considering the price is nearly $100 more than an Air Jordan Retro release.
