Converse’s classic Auckland Racer has now been released in more collaborations than in-house drops since its return with a highly limited new style arriving at retail today. Aloha Rag’s AR SRPLS label guest stars on the latest Converse First String Auckland Racer and gives us the simplest design this silo has seen all year: two shades of brown goat leather plus a couple more on the sole. There are plenty of subtle details that you can see in more photos below and let us know if you think the GOAT of goat leather sneakers is now available at Aloha Rag.

Aloha Rag has authored two different zippered Jack Purcell collaborations with Converse, and today we see the third offer two models at once. The A.R. SRPLS x Converse Pro Leather we showed you back in February is joined by a new Auckland Racer, both in top quality leathers. The Pro Leather is vaguely reminiscent of what you’d expect from a Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High x Blazer mashup (interesting timing on the heels of the Stussy edition), and the Auckland Racer wins the novelty contest with a rustic red makeup whose African goat build is the only one we’ve seen of its kind. That second silo will also be online on Saturday, but for pre-orders only (December ship date) and you can see both in detail after the jump.

The Converse Pro Leather hightop is sufficiently well aged that Michael Jordan was wearing them when he hit the 1982 NCAA Championship-winning jumper, but it’s taken top-notch collaborations and premium releases from the First String collection to get these back into the public eye. The latest pair comes to us courtesy of Aloha Rag‘s new private label series A.R. SRPLS, whose gold stars on white leather has these looking like they’d be associated with ‘SPRM’ if any de-vowel’d ‘s’-word. But these manage to look considerably older than the vaunted Supreme Dunk High SBs thanks to the interplay of off-white accents and a yellow-leaning gum sole, the latest in a long line of examples proving the merit of vintage colorups on these old school silhouettes. Take a gander after the jump and look for these at select retailers in September. via HS

Thanks in no small part to Ronnie Fieg’s recent efforts, the Asics Gel Lyte III reigns supreme atop the split-tongue sneaker world. Fieg has on more than one occasion promoted his work with a beautiful model in a lovely location, but here’s a little glimpse of paradise and a new double tongued model with a different collaborative influence. With 166 pairs created for the store’s 20th anniversary, the Aloha Rag x Converse Jack Purcell Zip won’t be in position to become as prominent as the Japanese runner to which we compared it, but given Aloha Rag’s niche in the high-end streetwear retail space, this seems appropriate. Click through to see more of this tonal blue canvas and cracked leather uppers and look for these now direct from Aloha Rag, and at Converse First String retailers on July 15th.

Hawaiian boutique Aloha Rag is getting together with Converse to celebrate their 20th anniversary in style, commemorating that hallmark year with a special Jack Purcell Zipper Hi. We’ve seen a lot of great Jack Purcell’s as of late and this one is no exception, with a fabric upper that looks a lot like the recent Converse Jack Purcell LTT Ox Chambray Pack. The zipper beneath the laces combined with a metal stud on the back give these a rebellious feel to contrast with the otherwise refined look of the sneaker. Also of note are the sweet red, white, and blue laces, continuing the American theme we’ve seen recently from Converse. Hit the jump to look at the video preview of the Aloha Rag x Converse Jack Purcell Zipper Hi.
