More and more often we’re seeing professional athletes calling up on custom sneaker creators to outfit their own shoes with one off looks. Guys like Kevin Durant and LeBron James of course get plenty of one-off sneakers thanks to their Nike connections, but it’s not too surprising that every once in a while they’re after something beyond what those colorists are willing to do. The latest case of that is this Nike KD 5, one that Durant himself commissioned AMAC Customs to do. The sneakers sport a camouflage upper complete with a target in reference to Kevin’s Instagram handle @easymoneysniper. nike kd 6 ice cream customs Nike KD 6 Ice Cream by AMAC Customs

The KD 6 is a sneaker that’s not gotten to crazy with the graphic looks just yet in its young life. Helping the shoe push the boundaries just a bit is this specialized pair from AMAC Customs, which throws a cartoony ice cream look over the top. Not only is there an ice cream drip, the sneakers even get some sprinkles (Would it have been too much to ask for a waffle cone outsole?). Continue reading to get familiar with this KD 6 custom and keep in mind you can grab a pair for yourself straight from AMAC if you like what you see here.

Let’s not forget that that Nike Roshe Run FB with the “Yeezy” nickname didn’t officially have anything to do with those Kanye West sneakers. This custom does however, as designer AMAC Customs crafted the pair with the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in mind. The sneakers sort of one up that release in terms of materials actually, as the snake texture going on on the upper is real deal python skin. Hit the jump to see all the angles on this “Yeezy 2″ inspired Nike Roshe Run job and stay tuned to see what AMAC Customs does with this beloved silhouette next.

nike roshe run cork customs Nike Roshe Run FB Cork by AMAC Customs

It looks like AMAC Customs has found a niche of sorts: outfitting Nike Roshe Run pairs with looks inspired by the most coveted of Nike Basketball releases. This pair blurs that line just a little bit, as the Nike LeBron X “Cork” was a sneaker that the NSW team also had a hand in. The Nike Roshe Run FB was selected for the project, presumably for the forefoot Swoosh that kinda lines up with that found on the aforementioned LeBron pair. Continue reading to see the Nike Roshe Run FB “Cork”, yes that’s real cork on there, and tell us if you approve of this AMAC Customs job.

The more releases we see of the now ubiquitous Nike Roshe Run, the more the custom scene has started to embrace the shoes. Slapping another fan favorite onto the mesh bangers is AMAC Customs, who has outfitted a pair with the splattery, notalgic “Nerf” look. The overall shapes of the Nike Zoom KD IV that the combo made its debut on and that of the Nike Roshe Run aren’t too far off-both have that slim, longer feel-so we’d say the transition isn’t too much of a stretch. Judge for yourself after you see the full photos of the Nike Roshe Run “Nerf” by AMAC right after the jump.
