The Asics x Extra Butter “Death List 5″ series is nearing its completion, with the final Asics Gel Lyte V “Snake Charmer” pair set to release on February 7th. The good news is that if you’re still missing any of the pairs from the epic set, Extra Butter is planning to restock the entirety of them over the next week. Beginning Monday, February 3rd, they will release 24 pairs per day-12 of them in store at the LES location and another 12 online later in the evening. The Asics Gel Lyte III is one of those timeless retro silhouettes that you just can’t imagine will ever be lacking in popularity. The model is, at this point, an undeniable staple of the retro footwear lineup for the brand, and is consistently getting the big up treatment from various partners on the collaborations side. But if you’re not also up on the likes of the Asics Gel Saga, the Asics Gel Lyte V, Asics GT-Cool, and the soon to return Asics GT Quick then you’re doing yourself a disservice; all models, which fall in the heralded GT heritage, are champions in their own right, and with Asics poised to bring back the latter models, expect them to regain a level of GLIII prominence.
