Bespokes have been churning out on the regular from 21 Mercer and Nike Harajuku from a wide variety of collectors and sneaker aficionados, but Bespoke-regular and ATF Crew member Mayor reminded us that he’s one of Bespoke’s best by tweeting his latest Bespoke creation, titled ‘Game Over’. It could easily be retitled as ‘Mayor Over’, as it features his signature graffiti-esque insignia printed all over the upper and on the insole of the shoe, and the basic colorway of royal blue and pink provides a simple, easy-going base for the eccentric print, with the customary gum outsole providing the classic Air Force 1 touch. We recently caught actor Chi McBride wearing the Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump ‘Wimbledon’ on the set of the hit TNT show Hawthorne, but if you needed even more affirmation that this dude’s sneaker game is legit, check out his Air Jordan V Quai 54 in the Friends and Family only Black colorway. There’s no doubt that Chi’s been in the sneaker game for a while (he’s been spotted wearing the NKETLK t-shirt), and with just 54 pairs of these beauties being doled out to the select of the select, Mr. McBride certainly did not rise up the V.I.P. list ranks overnight. The Black Quai 54 would be a worthy addition to an updated ‘Chi McBride’s Greatest Footwear Moments‘ list, wouldn’t it? Over the weekend, the Sneaker Friends tour went across country lines to Toronto, Canada for a special sneaker event at the New Era store. The ATF Crew (DJ Clark Kent, All Day, Mayor, DJ Greg Street) were on hand to showcase their famed footwear collections, which featured some of the rarest sneakers to ever grace the planet. The ATF Crew doesn’t disappoint, and based on the varied assortment of Air Force 1 Bespokes, LeBron PEs, and Air Jordan rarities, there was no shortage of awe-inspiring sneakers on display.
