Brooklyn Projects’ catalog of Nike SB creations will get just a little bit deeper this year with the release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Walk of Fame”. The pair was originally supposed to hit in February of 2013 as an Academy Awards tie-in, but they’ve apparently been pushed back a bit for whatever reason. This newest sneak peek at the pair shows off a hefty bit of BP branding between the tongue tags and back embroidery. Tell us what you think of the Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Walk of Fame” collab and stay tuned for updated release info as soon as it’s available.

Brooklyn Projects just constructed a custom product display for fellow Los Angelinos The Hundreds, a move that foreshadows an upcoming BP x Nike SB collaboration inspired by Hollywood‘s very foundation. The Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Walk of Fame’ features a bold colorway matching those famed tribute pavers with Safari print on the black sections mimicking the famous sidewalks’ glittery composition In person, the metal flaked patent leather gold Swooshes might end up being the most eye-catching feature, and we can also expect a star embroidered on the heel for the production model. 450 pairs will be produced with 400 sold inside special packaging with extras sometime around the 2013 Academy Awards, so stick with Sneaker News for updates as we approach the February 2013 release date.

Nike Skateboarding is building up some serious momentum behind signature hybrids and sequels along with big name collaborations, this new model falling squarely in that latter category. Or make that ‘Hollywood Squares’, as Los Angeles’ Brooklyn Projects crafts an ode to Tinseltown with a new Dunk collab inspired by the nearly 2500 stars embedded into the movie mecca’s sidewalks. This Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk Low ’Walk of Fame’ is the latest film-themed Dunk SB following up on CNCPTS’ Porky’s-based teaser and notable earlier designs like the infamous Freddy Kreuger. They feature an aggressive colorup styled after the styles themselves, with Safari print on the black sections evoking the monuments’ eye-catching texture. Stick with Sneaker News for the release date and to find out if the big screen becomes a big trend for Nike SB in 2013 (and what about those Concords and the Anthrax teamup?), and check out more photos below in the meantime.

The time honored tradition of porting classic Air Jordan colorways over onto Dunk silhouettes is one thats been revived a decent amount over the past year or so, with last summer seeing the release of the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Space Jam’ and this summer reprising the Air Jordan III look via that Supreme release. That’s not all though, apparently long time Nike SB partner Brooklyn Projects is getting in on the fun as well, with teaser shots freshly emerging of a Nike SB Dunk Low clearly coated in an Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ look. Hit the jump with us for the full teaser and let us know if you think this upcoming pair can top the success of the ‘Space Jam’ as far as Air Jordan XI style Dunks. As always, stick with Sneaker News to find out when they’ll drop.

Sneaker News has showed you two different teasers for new Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk drops, one High in what you might consider an updated take on their 2009 Lows and another of height TBD that features a look much closer to last year’s Slayer-inspired ‘Reign in Blood’ edition. BP headman Dom DeLuca had promised “the first of five Nike SB x BP” designs for December back in May, so when you consider his most recent post to Instagram, metal fans especially can’t help but be excited that maybe that first berry-colored Dunk High SB we mentioned is a mere respite from the aggression unleashed by a ‘Big 4′ pack.
Now it’s looking like there’s an Anthrax x Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB design on the way (possibly a Dunk (Low?), given the Instagram’d Scott Ian jumpman); might a Slayer sequel be on tap along with Megadeth and Metallica teamups? Dave Mustaine’s notoriously surly attitude makes the former seem just as unlikely as the latter given the upcoming Kill ‘Em All Vans, but then again, a concert like the one these four megagroups shared at Yankee Stadium last fall was once just a pipe dream too. Click through for more, let us know what you think and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more information.

Nike SB mainstay Brooklyn Projects guarantees a Nike SB Dunk collaboration for 2013 as the store’s co-founder Dom DeLuca drops this teaser of an upcoming Nike SB Dunk collaboration – the store’s third overall hook-up with Nike. This new image reveals a mix of mixed-berry colors in purple, pink, and teal blue on the tongue, with a black upper tightening the screws to complete a nice overall colorway. Brooklyn Projects has always brought in a unique outside concept in their designs, so while the true inspiration is yet to be revealed, you can count on something creative from the folks at BP! The last teaser of the BP x Dunk revealed something slightly different – a safari-print toe with a red toe-box. Could we be in for two different designs, or is this upcoming release composed that wildly?

Are we looking at the Dunk SB ‘South of Heaven’? In figurative terms, most certainly, as this teaser shot represents our first glimpse at the sequel to Brooklyn Projects‘ 2011 Slayer-inspired Nike SB Dunk High. That ‘Reign in Blood’ Dunk High SB will be followed up by BP’s third SB, a bred shoutout to the Air Safari and its namesake print’s 25th anniversary with a white midsole. Based on last time out, we can expect the materials to be among the most luxurious all year, but will it be a High, Low, or even possibly the first Dunk Mid SB collaboration since 2010? Let us know what you think of this snippet when you’re on the other side and be sure to check back with Sneaker News for the full design, its backstory and the release date for the second black and red Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk.

Giveaway items include a Nike SB backpack in a golden yellow with black and red accents that’s vaguely reminiscent of Dom Deluca’s ‘Reign in Blood’ Dunk Highs SB from earlier this year. That bag is an unreleased sample that’ll never make it to retail, but might the Eric Koston-signed Kobe x Koston Lakers-leaning basketball jersey be more valuable? Add in a third mystery item to be revealed in the store on Friday, and you’ve got all the makings of a must visit; will you adjust your shopping plans to include Brooklyn Projects?
