The latest Converse Chuck Taylor All Star collaboration releases today at just four locations worldwide. Chaz Bojorquez’ First String 1970s Chuck Taylor arrives in San Francisco where he’s making an in-store appearance at the Converse store grand opening, two shops in Asia and a single European retailer. Legendary LA-based graffiti artist Chaz Bojorquez has been called the ‘Godfather of Cholo Style Letters’, a title that reflects his experience in since the 1960s. Bojorquez championed a unique blend of Mexican-American style with Asian calligraphy influence, a vantagepoint whose elegance is reflected in this new Chuck Taylor collab. The Chaz Bojorquez x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is done in black with an all-white sole, adding the artist’s ‘Senor Suerte’ skull on the tongue along with hexagonal eyelets and Chaz’ John Hancock on the insoles. These hit Foot Patrol in London, Juice in Hong Kong and Shanghai and Converse San Francisco this Friday, June 28th, and Bojorquez will celebrate the launch with an in-store appearance in SF.
