South Florida All-Star Classic Game Recap

south florida classic recap summary South Florida All Star Classic Game Recap

While it appears that at least the first two weeks of the NBA will be shelved, the league’s biggest stars made sure that basketball fans didn’t go without some early-October live action hoops. In an exhibition game called the South Florida All-Star Classic, NBA stars gathered in Florida, forging alliances under the umbrella of Team LeBron and Team Wade; on Wade’s squad were NBA All-Stars Amare Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul, while on LeBron’s side, Chris Bosh, Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook, and Kevin Durant joined forces. The crowd was ready to witness the world’s greatest strut their stuff, and the ballers on court were definitely ready to put on a show.

During this game, we were treated to a visual specialty of new basketball kicks meant for the 2011-12 season; LeBron James wore the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Cannon’, while Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant each wore their respective new signatures (Fly Wade 2, Melo M8, CP3.V, Zoom KD IV). Amare Stoudemire was also spotted with the Air Max Sweep Thru, Russell Westbrook rocked the Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 PE, and Rajon Rondo selected the tonal-volt Hyperdunk 2011. The final outcome had Team Wade victorious by the score of 141-140, but it was LeBron James’ post-game speech that erased any Win or Loss and unified both the players and the fans, proving that basketball truly never stops. NBA Feet: 2011 Finals – Game 2 Recap

nba feet 2011 finals game 2 recap summary NBA Feet: 2011 Finals Game 2 Recap

When your star player – a shooter for that matter – tears a tendon on one of his fingers, you might as well wave the white flag and call it a series, no? The Dallas Mavericks, down 15 with just over 6 minutes of play remaining, stormed back in the fourth quarter with a 20-2 run using timely buckets and ironclad defense. Led by Dirk Nowitzki, who claimed the torn tendon didn’t bother him, scored Dallas’ final nine points; a heady fast break lay-up, a tie-breaking three-pointer with Jordan-esque clutchness, and a lefty lay-up thanks to Chris Bosh’s overzealous defense of the fadeaway sealed the deal and sent the series back to Texas with all the momentum on the Mavericks’ side. For Game 2 not much changed in terms of sneakers; Dirk did his thing with the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and Jason Terry rocked the Zig Slash (and gave ‘em away to a lucky fan after the game). On Miami’s side, LeBron and Wade rocked their respective PEs of the LeBron 8 P.S. and Jordan Fly Wade, and Mike Bibby wore the Air Jordan 2011 Quick Fuse for the second straight game. With the series guaranteed to go at least five games, you know Sneaker News will keep you on top of all of the NBA Feet action, so check out the Game 2 recap after the jump! via Yahoo!.

NBA Feet: 2011 Playoffs – Bulls vs. Heat Game 4 Recap

nba feet 5 24 11 summary NBA Feet: 2011 Playoffs Bulls vs. Heat Game 4 Recap

After losing the opening game of the series, the Miami Heat have been scorching hot and rolling on all cylinders, receiving elite-level contribution from each of the Big Three when needed the most. Wade, LeBron, and Bosh are proving that three superstars can co-exist, because they’re just one win away from an NBA Finals appearance – Miami’s first since winning the title in 2006. LeBron James once again sported the LeBron 8 P.S. Home PE, which features a red midsole and yellow speckling, and Dwyane Wade wore his own Home PE of the Jordan Fly Wade. Mike Miller, who provided some clutch buckets down the stretch, wore the Air Max 360 BB Low in white. Chicago had a chance at victory, but Derrick Rose fell short on two key last-second jumpers as he was guarded heavily by LeBron James. Rose wore the adidas adiRose 1.5 (no Crazy Light?) and Carlos Boozer wore the White/Black/Red PE of the Hyperdunk 2010 with colorblocking reminscent of the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Scarface’ that released half a decade ago. We’ve got a full recap of Game 4 below so take a look and let us know if you think Miami will close it out in Game 5. via Yahoo!.
