CHRIS PAUL
Chris Paul is a Jordan Brand athlete and currently the star point guard for the Los Angeles Clippers. He has a signature sneaker line with Jordan Brand called the Jordan CP3, and as of 2012, he has five signature sneakers.

Chris Paul’s departure from New Orleans put an end to the festive, Mardi Gras-inspired colorways of teals, golds, and purples seen in his Jordan CP3 signatures as well as Air Jordan PEs. One of the more notable Air Jordan x CP3 connections was this Air Jordan XX3, which feature a luurious white leather upper matched with teal blue stitching on the upper panel, thicker gold contrast stitching, and the jeweled midsole in the teal blue. On the tongue is Paul’s ’3′ logo laser-etched into the tongue, with Michael Jordan’s thumbprint on the opposite face. We’ve shown you this Air Jordan XX3 PE before, but there are actually a few others around – the Black/Baby Blue, a similar White/Baby Blue, and a White/Red/Black version from over three years ago. Check out the detailed gallery of this teal-based Home PE of the Air Jordan XX3 and stick with Sneaker News for more PE news and updates!

With the Jordan Brand ‘College Collection’ dropping tomorrow, how about we take a look back at Melo, Wade, and CP3′s greatest college-time achievements? Dwyane Wade led Marquette to the Final Four in 2003 while recording one of four triple-doubles in NCAA Tournament history, upsetting the top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in the process. Chris Paul led Wake Forest to two straight tournament berths, getting as far as the Sweet 16 in the 2004 Tournament. The highest regard goes to Carmelo Anthony, who led Syracuse to its first ever National Championship in his Freshman year, earning the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player Award will receiving praise from coach Jim Boeheim, who called Melo the best player in college ball by far, emphatically making his point with “It wasn’t even close”. You can relive any one of those three stories tomorrow when the College Collection of the Fly Wade 2, Melo M8, and CP3.V hits retailers like Millenium Shoes, so let us know which of the three Jordan Brand stars had the best college career and cop any one of the three releases on eBay.

Last night Sneaker News showed you LeBron’s ‘Miami Floridians’ PE of the LeBron 9 that he wore to match the Heat’s throwback uniforms. While we were indeed awestruck at the new colorway, there was plenty of other on-court NBA Feet heat to take notice of! But before we get onto the sneakers, special notice must go to Kobe’s black protective mask, which made him look like more of a masked crusader than a Black Mamba, although his winning streak with the mask came to end. Staying on the topic of Kobes, Paul George wore his Pacers-specific iD while Demar DeRozan went tonal with an all-white Kobe VII iD. Kevin Durant sported a new PE colorway of the Nike Zoom KD IV which featured a thunderous mix of white, photo blue, and team orange. Chris Paul rocked a sick Baby Blue/Red PE of the CP3.V that had some visual flair thanks to the Anodized finish on the upper. If you missed out on the NBA games yesterday, check out a nice visual recap below! via ESPN

Chris Paul’s been wearing nothing but flashy colorways of his newest sig – the Jordan CP3.V – and this May, it’s only going to get crazier with the release of the Jordan CP3.V ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ Pack that we first showed you back in January. If you’re one for the cooler, calmer colorways, look no further than this April 2012 release of White/Metallic Silver; it’s got that Silver Anniversary vibe with the two-toned White/Silver upper, set off by the translucent outsole (they just seem to make everything look that much better!). If you’ve noticed the release updates by Jordan Brand today, you already know what’s right ahead – official images of Jordan CP3.V by Jordan Brand.

Syracuse, Marquette, and Wake Forest – the three schools responsible for honing the skills of three of today’s most talented NBA superstars. Carmelo Anthony was without question the most successful of the bunch, winning a National Title with Syracuse in 2003, but Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul also had their success in the tournament, with Wade almost facing off against Melo in the 2003 Final. Jordan Brand will commemorate this year’s March Madness tournament with special colorways of the three Jordan Brand signatures modeled after their schools; Chris Paul’s Jordan CP3.V will be colored in a Black/Gold, Melo’s Jordan Melo M8 will be full of ‘Orange’, and Dwyane Wade’s Jordan Fly Wade 2 will be adorned with the regal University Gold. The entire Jordan Brand March Madness Pack will become available next Thursday on March 8th, so let us know which of the three you like best and give us your predictions for this year’s NCAA National Championship!
