While the Jordan Melo M9 appears to be the only basketball sig from Jordan Brand actually releasing in a ‘Black History Month’ colorway, that doesn’t mean it was the only one made. Chris Paul also got his own pair to play in for today’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day games across the NBA. The Jordan CP3.VI ‘BHM’ goes for a black base, carrying the same blue speckled overlay as the Jordan Melo M9 ‘BHM’ and the Air Jordan 1 ‘BHM’. The goodies from Chris Paul’s most recent Jordan Brand care package continue to pop up left and right, with this brand new Air Jordan IV colorway included finding its way onto the feet of CP3 just last night. The vaguely Clippers colorway was his sneaker of choice at the most recent Chris Paul PBA League All-Stars Invitational Bowling Tournament. Will they ever release or are they destined to remain a player exclusive for Chris Paul’s bowling excursions? Is it possible that Chris Paul was working on some sort of superstition wherein he wore a new pair of the Jordan CP3.VI for every single game of that massive winning streak the Clippers just concluded? If so then this impressive pile would be the aftermath. The shot shown came with a caption with CP3 suggesting that he might be giving the pile away via Instagram, giving his followers a chance at owning some of the pairs that hit the hardwood during the aforementioned historic winning streak. Remember that incredible package of Air Jordans that Chris Paul was recently gifted as a massive Christmas present from the JB team? Among the haul was a brand new pair of Air Jordan XIII’s, one that perhaps got a little overshadowed by the likes of the Air Jordan IVs included in the group. Tis the season…to be totally excited about what Jordan Brand’s whipping out for Spring 2013. Chris Paul, one of Jordan Brand’s longest-tenured athletes, just showed off a smorgasbord of AIr Jordans, including the highly anticipated Retro releases as well as some new colorways of his signature CP3.VI. What caught our eyes with that trio of Air Jordan IV special editions, which feature some ballsy color-combos that remind us of his equally energetic ‘Nitro Pack‘. With a ‘Green Glow‘ version as well as that ‘Fire Red‘ version causing quite a stir, would you welcome an Air Jordan IV release in any of the above three colorways? Things are falling right into place for Jordan Brand; it recently paired Chris Paul with his fellow superstar teammate in Los Angeles to form a formidable tag-team brand ambassadorship, all while launching his new Jordan CP3.VI signature shoe in a special party over the weekend. Guests were treated with an interactive environment of all things CP3.VI, with customizable t-shirts, shoes, and gear available for experimenting! A number of celebrity attendees were also present, including several of CP3′s Clippers teammates and G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T, who performed some of his latest singles. If you were down in Venice Beach over the last weekend you may have been lucky enough to catch Chris Paul in action. Actually you would have caught a ton of Chris Paul’s, all of them not so much ‘in action’ as frozen in time, set up in a string of poses for this awesome new Jordan Brand video. The spot comes as a promo piece for the all new Jordan CP3.VI, extended Paul’s on court to style to a literal cut through LA (albeit a pretty small section).
