The Flight 45 worked well enough as a rugged winter boot crossover that Jordan Brand realized it could apply one of the key features from the City Air Max TRK that also debuted last winter. The Jordan Flight 45 High Max comes down off the mountain and sheds its trademark midfoot strap, opting for a Max Air-cushioned lifestyle look that loops laces through the reworked ankle wing. This pair is done in a style to match Carmelo Anthony’s caricature edition, its Gym Red and Obsidian pairing a perfect match for fellow two-time Olympic champion Chris Paul‘s LA Clippers gear. We get the sense from cartoon CP3′s New Orleans jersey on the inner tongue that this was a concept a long time coming, and now they can be yours at select Jordan Brand retailers like Oneness.

This Sunday, the Jordan Brand label brought home two more Gold Medals thanks to two of its marquee athletes – Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul. This latest apparel offering from Jordan Brand juxtaposes the ’12 members with ’92′s Michael Jordan as all three athletes are wearing their respective kicks – MJ in the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ and CP3/Melo wearing the Jordan Super Fly ‘Olympic’. The shirt design is a throwback to the original Dream Team t-shirt, as Melo and Jordan hold up the Jordan global logo and CP3 drapes the American flag on his back. One glaring omission? Jordan Brand athlete Dwyane Wade, who spent the summer rehab-ing an injury. So even thought the ’12 team brought home Gold, the debate continues is the 2012 team better than the 1992 Dream Team? Check out additional angles and close-ups of this tee below and get yours right now at Nikestore.

The 2011-2012 NBA Season has been quite a successful season for Jordan Brand athlete Chris Paul, but how much of that would you attribute to luck? After leading the Los Angeles Clippers to the 2nd Round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs, CP3′s efforts were recognized as he was regarded as the best point guard in the league on both ends of the floor, as he was named to the primary squad of the All-NBA Team and All-NBA Defensive Team. His Jordan CP3.V signature gets the ‘lucky’ treatment as the second ‘Year Of The Dragon’ installment of the year, using the Azure Dragon as the inspiration with particular details on the upper and the outsole. The lightweight aspect of the CP3.V is also accentuated by the ‘cloud’ detail on the tissue inside the box, which shrouds the sneakers. Expect these to hit select Jordan Brand retailers this Thursday, June 7th, so peep the detailed images below to further familiarize yourself with this exciting colorway.

Chris Paul finished off one of his most successful seasons of his NBA career while riding the Jordan CP3.V. What moves will he make next year in the Jordan CP3.VI? For now, he’ll be in a Clipper uniform for at least one more season, so let’s take a look at three new colorways of Chris Paul’s sixth signature sneaker that we first showed you yesterday; a Gold/Black/Purple alongside a University Blue/Yellow and the Black/Red/White is what’s brought to us today, and clearly the energetic colorways outweigh the team-based versions by a 5-to-1 margin. What other surprises will Jordan Brand have in store for us to follow this year’s surprising releases like the Jekyll & Hyde Pack? Check out individual shots of all three upcoming releases below and let us know what you think. Photos: us11

This past season was by many accounts Chris Paul’s best yet, a lockout-compressed abbreviated regular season that saw the Los Angeles Clippers roughly flip their winning percentage compared to last season. ’Lob City’ has a whole new outlook now that they’ve got an elite point guard running the show, and Paul’s sixth Jordan Brand signature sneaker will be there as the Clippers try to make good on their dark horse contender status. The Jordan CP3.VI seems a logical progression from both the CP3.V and based on what we’ve seen from the Melo M9, a diamond-latticed synthetic lowtop whose patterns stick with implying the kind of layering we saw from Carmelo’s latest. Three vibrant designs suggest more wild styles in the vein of ‘Jeckyll and Hyde’ to compliment the Clippers-colored PEs, this new trio being called the ‘Nitro Collection’ thanks to its explosive Atomic Green, Total Orange and Metallic Silver builds. Click through for a better look and let us know your first impressions of the Jordan CP3.VI. Photos: US11
