Sneaker News took you back to 2005 for a handful of Nike SB Dunk Lows for last week’s Classics Revisited series and today we see that one of those famed collaborators has again teamed up with Nike, Inc. Instead of the Swoosh, this time it’s the One Star as the Slam City x Converse CTS Mid and Ox come through with red-accented black/white builds. These relatively simple styles add Slam City branding to the footbeds and aglets, and are limited to just 300 pairs each worldwide. A new month coming up means a new set of footwear releases from Converse Skateboarding, and perhaps in acknowledgement of the shortest month of the year, CONS is stripping away a bit of the extra detailing on one of their staples. The CONS Sea Star LS Ox strips out the traditional deck shoe-style heel lace and instead keeps the docksider sprit in its silhouette, much the way the vast majority of Zoom Stefan Janoskis have flown off Nike SB store shelves. Blue and white editions join new Trapasso Ox and CTS Ox lowtops in grey suedes, while a black CTS LS Ox shows off a slight variation on the immortal Chuck Taylor lowtop’s lines. Click through to see all five pairs and pick up your selection(s) today from Premier.

A black Chuck Taylor with a white sole. And Converse has made the most of this pillar of modern design, applying countless variations to the classic All Star silhouette like the above pictured pair that’s built for skateboarding. The CONS CTS Ox comes in the impeccable black canvas plus white stitching look, its ankle collar and tongue reinforced to better endure the rigors of asphalt and griptape. Click through to get a better sense of what these bring to the table and look for yours now at select Converse Skate retailers like Premier.
