For a majority of the 20th century, Converse supplied ‘lifestyle sneakers’ before they even had a name. Take for instance the Chuck Taylor, a basketball shoe released in 1917 that went on to become one of THE default footwear choices for people of all ages all around the world. Chuck gave birth to the One Star and we’ve seen a ton of both of those models, so how about refreshing the latter with a new silhouette straight from the fashion world’s most popular trends? The Converse One Star Seeker can be seen as a midtop chukka silhouette atop a classic Converse vulcanized sole, their sole branding a simple star cutout on the lateral heel area.
