This young NBA season has already been ripe with surprises, and the same can be said about some of the footwear selections we’ve seen over the past few days. Kevin Durant faced off against a familiar foe in the Dallas Mavericks, and it wasn’t the first time KD decided to break out a special pair for the match up as he wore the Nike KD 6 N7. Meanwhile it looks like the Toronto Raptors are competing with each other in regards to selections, as DeMar DeRozen opted for a pair of the Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove while teammate Amir Johnson had to break out the red suede Air Jordan 5 “Toro Bravo”. It was a surprising first week to the NBA season to say the least. After all who would’ve expected the Philadelphia 76ers to finish a week one schedule against the likes of the Bulls and Heat and come out on top in both games? Perhaps it was the added boost of Tony Wroten heat in the form of those Air Jordan 12 Mache customs or his Air Jordan 5 “Toro Bravos”, but the weekend featured a bunch of head-turning selections elsewhere too. Russell Westbrook returned from injury early to showcase the Air Jordan XX8 SE in a Thunder PE. And while Rus was doing his thing in OKC, LeBron was still trying to figure out what would work for him in Brooklyn as he switched from his LeBron 11s back to the Nike LeBron X Elites for the second half.
