It made sense that Nike Sportswear would hook up with Dover Street Market as part of the London Olympic celebration, but it might have been too much to handle with these dropping along with all the other heat in recent weeks. Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo started London’s Dover Street Market to give the brand a showcase among some of the fashion world’s biggest names, and soon we’ll add Nike Sportswear to that list. The Dover Street Market x Nike Air Force 1 Low is the latest banger during the AF1′s 30th Anniversary year, a couple of pairs dipped in a naturally waterproof and windproof material called Ventile. The tongues are tagged ’17-18′ in the style of a runner’s numbers, and the Saturday, July 28th drop date marks the first full day of competition after the torch is lit at Olympic Stadium.
