If you missed out on the March release of the Ewing 33 Hi “Jamaica” and “Georgetown”, no worries – round 2 is ready to go down. Ewing Athletics reports that it will restock both colorways on April 20th at Noon EST – nearly a month after the official release date that fell on the end of March. We’ll let you guys figure out what sort of connection April 20th has on the selected date of the restock, so let us know if you’ve figured it out and see what’s available now from vjsneakerking on eBay.

We can totally understand if Georgetown fans need a little bit of a pick-me-up after exiting this year’s March Madness tourney at the hands of FGCU. Well you’re in luck, as the Ewing 33 Hi is about to release in a colorway that should lift your spirits. Ewing Athletics pays tribute to its namesake’s early days with the two new colorways from his eponymous debut. The Ewing 33 Hi ‘Jamaica’ reminds us that Usain Bolt isn’t the first superstar athlete to emerge from the island nation, adding ‘The Cross’ to the heel of a white leather design. The ‘Georgetown’ 33 Hi marks a period twenty years down the timeline when the Hoyas made three trips to the NCAA Championships in four years, including the 1984 victory over Akeem Olajuwon’s Houston Cougars. Have a closer look at both pairs below, and if you can’t wait until the March 30th US release, get in on the Euro drop tomorrow, March 15th.

The latest pair of the Ewing 33 Hi to get a release date is this, the navy tinted ‘Georgetown’ colorway that comes as a tribute to Ewing’s college days. Ewing started his life as a Hoya back in 1981, his four year stint there eventually leading him to his time with the Knicks, which of course in turn led him to a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame. It looks like the Ewing 33 Hi will really run the gamut as far as paying tribute to Patrick Ewings various stops on his way to the NBA. Along with the ‘Jamaica’ pair that’s planned, there is also an Ewing 33 Hi ‘Georgetown’ colorway in the works that should satisfy the fans looking for a tie in to his NCAA days. The Hoyas look goes heavy on the suede and ends up as perhaps the most muted of releases we’ve seen from the revived Ewing Athletics to date.
