The latest pair of the Ewing 33 Hi to get a release date is this, the navy tinted ‘Georgetown’ colorway that comes as a tribute to Ewing’s college days. Ewing started his life as a Hoya back in 1981, his four year stint there eventually leading him to his time with the Knicks, which of course in turn led him to a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame. The Ewing 33 Hi ‘Jamaica’ will release at the end of this month, taking things all the way back to Patrick Ewing’s roots. Along with the obvious Jamaican colorway in place, the sneaker also comes equipped with the flag of said nation embroidered on its back end just in case there was any confusion about the inspiration. Kudos to you if you’ve managed to cop all four colorways of the Ewing 33 Hi in 2012 (not for purchasing, but for finding room in your closet to fit those mammoth sneakers). If you’re all about the super-retro chunky high-top Ewing Athletics look, the orange suede joints are due up soon – February 2nd to be exact. These, however, will be a much more limited release than its four predecessors, with only a select number of retailers in the NYC area getting these in-store.
