Patrick Ewing is finally making his way across the pond, his sneaker legacy extending to a good number more countries in retro form via the Ewing 33 Hi’s upcoming Euro release. All four of the colorways cooked up so far will be dropping November 9th, with a pretty good amount of spots across the continent stocking them. Due to the weather conditions that recently hit the Northeast, Ewing Athletics was forced to postpone the release of both the Black and Blue Suede versions of the Ewing 33 Hi, originally slated for a release this Saturday, November 10th. With relief efforts nowhere near an end at this moment, Ewing Athletics has pushed back the drop to November 28th – the Wednesday after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Update your sneaker release calendars with this pertinent information and we’ll keep you updated should Ewing Athletics make any more changes.

Ewing Athletics has some hefty plans for us this November; not only did they confirm the release date for the blue suede and black leather colorways of the Ewing 33 Hi, but a release date for all four Ewing 33 Hi 2012 colorways was penciled in for Euro retailers who have been eagerly and patiently waiting for the kicks to cross the ocean. November 9th is D-Day (or E-Day), and below is a complete list of all the spots in Europe that will have the 33 Hi in stock. Good news for the sneakerheads in Europe who have been patiently waiting for the release of the Ewing 33 Hi – the ETA is just around the corner. Sneaker News just confirmed the release of the second half of the original four to be November 10th, but on the eve of that U.S. release, Euro retailers will have all four (yes, all four versions) of the Ewing 33 Hi available for purchase. UK retailer The Main Source will hold a special release event party on November 8th, but be advised that the Ewing 33 Hi is in fact hitting Euro retailers on November 9th, so be sure to check with your local spot for confirmation and we’ll do our best to keep you updated on more Ewing Athletics release information.

The Ewing 33 Hi has already punched its ticket to this year’s Sneaker News Top 30 of 2012, and it’s not even finished yet! Both releases of the ‘Knicks’ and ‘Red Suede’ were complete successes, and the upcoming follow-up in the Royal Blue Suede and Black Leather should be no different. The question is – when will they drop? Just how coveted are the Ewings? Let’s just say that had Ewing Athletics not gone through with the nationwide release this past Saturday, the public would not have been pleased! It’s clear that the Ewing 33 Hi is an absolute must-have for 2012 because the shoes sold out completely at all 33 confirmed locations – just peep the massive lines and crowds that formed at four of the most prominent retailers of that list. We hope you copped your Ewing 33 Hi’s, but if not, there’s definitely more 33 Hi and Ewing Athletics on the way – all you need to do is keep it locked in on Sneaker News or cop one of the available pairs on eBay.

After a successful first drop of the Ewing 33 Hi in late August, Ewing Athletics is ready to roll out the nationwide red carpet for this outstanding re-issue of footwear nostalgia. The White/Blue/Orange Knicks joints as well as the Red Suede bangers are confirmed to drop at thirty-three sneaker spots, which we’ve hit you up with before. KITH is one of the confirmed retailers that will be part of the nationwide launch, but be sure to check the list of all 33 confirmed retail spots around the nation to get yours!

The Ewing Athletics launch of late August was treated less like a sneaker release and more like a red-carpet premiere for a blockbuster movie; of course, the ‘re-make’ is the hot rage in the film industry right now, and critics are deeming the Ewing 33 Hi return as every bit as good as the original. This Saturday, the Ewing 33 Hi will see a much wider release as previously promised – 33 retailers in total to be exact (which include the original release locations that will have re-stocks). In addition to the White/Blue/Orange and Red/Black colorway, the Ewing tees and posters will also be available (although the chances of Patrick being present at all 33 locations is rather unlikely).
