You’ve seen the Ewing 33 Hi ‘Jamaica’ and the Ewing 33 Hi ‘Georgetown’ that pay homage to Patrick’s earlier days, but it looks as if Ewing Athletics isn’t retiring the New York Knicks palette just yet. Show here is a quick teaser from the team that promises an orange suede version of the wildly successful Ewing 33 Hi reissue. It looks like the Ewing 33 Hi will really run the gamut as far as paying tribute to Patrick Ewings various stops on his way to the NBA. Along with the ‘Jamaica’ pair that’s planned, there is also an Ewing 33 Hi ‘Georgetown’ colorway in the works that should satisfy the fans looking for a tie in to his NCAA days. The Hoyas look goes heavy on the suede and ends up as perhaps the most muted of releases we’ve seen from the revived Ewing Athletics to date. The Ewing Athletics line has already had a couple of regional colorways what with the OG ‘Knicks’ blue and orange releases of the Ewing 33 Hi. Next up it looks like they will be paying homage to Patrick’s birthplace of Jamaica with this white based release that brings in accents of red, yellow, green, and black. They even go so far as to plant the Jamaican flag on the back panel. Patrick Ewing’s revived sneaker line is paying a little visit to our neighbors in the North this weekend, all four colorways of the Ewing 33 Hi set to release at a small number of retailers across Canada come December 15th. Can Canada match the fervor that this unique retro was met with over here in the US? Good old James Naismith was a Canadian-American afterall so maybe they’ve got more love for roundball and the associated sneakers than we’re giving ‘em credit for. Ewing Athletics will complete its re-issue of the iconic 33 Hi as the final two confirmed colorways will hit retailers nationwide. Both the black leather and royal blue ‘Knicks’ versions will become available to a crowd of Retro-crazed sneakerheads who celebrated the first two releases back in August. The Ewing 33 Hi made its way to European shores over the weekend, plenty of sneaker stores across the continent throwing special release parties for the return of the Patrick Ewing sig. Main Source in Norwich, England was one such store, with donuts, booze, and beats flowing throughout the shop as heads lined up to pick up their pairs. Patrick Ewing is finally making his way across the pond, his sneaker legacy extending to a good number more countries in retro form via the Ewing 33 Hi’s upcoming Euro release. All four of the colorways cooked up so far will be dropping November 9th, with a pretty good amount of spots across the continent stocking them. Ewing Athletics has some hefty plans for us this November; not only did they confirm the release date for the blue suede and black leather colorways of the Ewing 33 Hi, but a release date for all four Ewing 33 Hi 2012 colorways was penciled in for Euro retailers who have been eagerly and patiently waiting for the kicks to cross the ocean. November 9th is D-Day (or E-Day), and below is a complete list of all the spots in Europe that will have the 33 Hi in stock.
