Footpatrol x Le Coq Sportif Eclat

We’re pretty far removed from their 1980′s heyday, so you can get a pass if you’re not up on Le Coq Sportif. Foot Patrol comes through with the assist in what is probably a reintroduction for many, getting together with the French sneaker brand on a super limited release of their Eclat model. The runner is classic suede and nylon fare, with the co-branded tongue showing off the team up and the deep navy upper driving home the Foot Patrol flavor. Check out the shots after the jump from this collab between one of London’s premier sneaker spots and a European powerhouse in athletic gear (word to Bun B). With just 85 pairs available, the Footpatrol x Le Coq Sportif Eclat will hit on Friday, February 24th.

Foot Patrol x Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary

The Reebok Workout’s 25th Anniversary celebration has shown us that this classic trainer can manifest in as many unique personalities as the globally noteworthy boutiques that jumped on board this fairly large collaborative capsule.  And while the variety ensures something for everyone, it’s hard to argue that the suede pairs have been among the most impressive.  Whether rocking an easily identifyable theme like the mita sneakers-penned workboot look or just going for elegant simplicity as in the case of Packer Shoes’ burgundy build, one could convincingly argue with evidence like the above pictured design that this model best known for its white/grey leather OGs might do its best work in a rougher texture.  This Foot Patrol Workout 25 goes with a super-nappy grey suede whose combination with a gum sole is saved from being a simplified microcosm of the past couple years of lifestyle kicks, thanks to the choice of a yellow lace that echoes the tongue tag.  The London boutique will see their 25th Anny Workouts drop on February 15th along with the other fourteen collabo designs, so click through to see more from Foot Patrol’s pair and stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Foot Patrol x adidas Originals Campus ’80s ‘B Sides’ Release Info

The adidas Originals B-Sides collection has been pretty epic so far, revisiting big name collabos in the brand’s history with a “What If?” approach. That theme seems especially fitting for Foot Patrol, the landmark UK store that has risen from the dead, reopening its doors in 2010 to serve the sneaker community again. On their first go round with adidas, Foot Patrol went for an animal motif, with a trio of adidas Campus 80s done up with snakeskin stripes. This time around horsehair is the pick, showing up on the medial stripes in a mixture of marine and black. These suede beauties will be available at Foot Patrol at 9AM on Saturday, 17th September 2011 and are going to just as limited as the rest of the B-Side collection. Take a full look at the sneakers after the jump and head over to Foot Patrol for the extra info for online orders.

adidas Originals B Sides Collection

We’ve been showing you images as they’ve surfaced over the past couple months, so regular Sneaker News readers already have an idea of the concept behind adidas Originals’ B-Sides Collection.  These also fall under the adidas Consortium umbrella, and were brought into existence by that division’s new Concept Manager as a way of celebrating some of the Brand With the Three Stripes’ most outstanding releases over the past few years.  For models like the BAPE x adidas Originals Superstar 80s ‘B-Sides’ and a few others, it’s a case of twisting around the original colorway, while the UNDFTD Top Tens are the realization of a nixed sample from around the time of their collaboration with Estevan Oriol.  Click through to see more shots from each of these seven releases including the as yet unseen Kegler Supers and Micropacers and head over to Complex for more details on each.

Foot Patrol x adidas Originals Campus 80s B Sides

adidas Originals continues to reminisce over some of the brand’s top tag-team efforts during the past decade, their B-Sides Collection growing to include its first European collaborator.  The Foot Patrol xadidas Originals Campus ’80s reprises a motif used on a 2007 triple release, but it looks like a single navy/white design this time around, as with the UNDFTD and BAPE editions.  The Foot Patrol Campus was notable for its use of white leather Stripes on the lateral and tonal snakeskin on the medial sides, and while this new pair keeps the asymmetry alive, they go wild slightly differently, opting for horsehair this time around.  Click through to see more angles and stick with Sneaker News for updates including the release date.  via Sneakers.fr
