Where there’s fire, there’s smoke. And where there’s smoke you’re gonna need a gas mask. Freehand Profit doesn’t have one of those for us this time, instead offering up a more straightforward mask creation. The piece is just a bit more conservative than usual, sourcing just one pair of the Air Jordan IV “Fire Red” in its creation. Continue reading to see the full photos of his handiwork, as well as a video featuring their display at Drunk Off Shoes in Montreal, and make sure you chime in via the comments regarding this bit of Air Jordan sneaker art.

The latest insane bit of sneaker art from Freehand Profit is this, a mask built from the remains of some shredded Nike SB Dunk High “Boba Fett” pairs. Getting away from his typical gas-mask treatment, this project instead results in a helmet mimicking that of your favorite Star Wars bounty hunter. The front visor is even there, as are the multiple moons of Tatooine in the background of the photo shoot. Click through for more on Freehand Profit’s Nike SB Dunk High “Boba Fett” helmet piece and tell us in the comment if you prefer this to his usual gas-mask fare.

Freehand Profit doesn’t care what you think. He doesn’t care how upset it might make you if he chops up one of the most coveted sneaker releases in recent memory an appropriates it into his own piece of art. The sneaker that gets his buzz-saw treatment here is the Air Jordan V “Bin 23″ that pair from the seemingly extinct and exceedingly hard to find premio series of releases. See the the transformed Air Jordan V, a gas mask in tune with the out of this world looks we’ve come to expect from this off the wall sneaker artist, right after the jump.

The macabre-looking visage of a gas mask with the American stars and stripes hanging in the background? No, it’s not the latest bit of Banksy artwork – it’s another chopped and screwed sneaker by Freehand Profit. Using the recently dropped Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ Retro and a patriotic backdrop for this photoshoot, Freehand Profit unveils his latest Gas Mask donned in a familiar Red, White, and Blue, with a volunteer model willing to un-deadstock his own Air Jordan VI ‘Olympics’, acting as the podium. This Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ will be featured in Freehand’s book titled ‘Army Of The Undeadstock’, which will feature more than 100 pages of sneaker masks – some we have yet to see. Freehand Profit is back at it with his controversial creations, this time giving the Edward Scissorhands treatment to a pair of the EA Sports adorned Nike Air Trainer 1.3 that dropped last summer. Actually this time around he went ahead and utilized three pairs for his work, spinning the silhouette appropriately enough into a football helmet rather than his trademark gas-mask. The EA Sports commissioned piece sort of doubles as a historical marker of the Nike x NFL agreement, embodying the union of the National Football league and the Swoosh team. Click through to check out the EA Sports x Freehand Profit Nike Trainer 1.3 Max football helmet and stay tuned with Sneaker News just in case someone straps up in this piece of gear come NFL season.

We understand that LeBron fans are riding high off the heels of his first-ever NBA Title. But to chop up a pair of gems like the Nike Zoom LeBron IV ‘Dunkman’? Did Freehand Profit inhale some of that funny gas that he intended to avoid? In all seriousness, we have to applaud not only the craftsmanship, but the unbridled display of sneaker sacrifice; we’ve seem him chop up the Concords, Black/Cement IIIs, and other goodies in macabre style, but the Zoom LeBron IV ‘Dunkman’ eclipses all of those shoes combined in terms of rarity because unless you’re part of LeBron’s immediate circle, you’re shelling out a ton of rupees to get these. Whatever burning bush or shoebox has been telling Freehand has obviously led to some insane sneaker gas mask creations, so what could he go with next? It’s been quite some time since we’ve last seen one of Freehand’s work so take a look below and let us know what you think.
