flom sb dunks Futura x Nike SB Dunk High FLOM Available on eBay

Futura’s got no shortage of classic Nike collabs under his belt. If you need any proof of that, just see how many hits the man has on Complex’s recent best Nike SBs of all time list. No doubt near the top of the heap as far as secondary market value is this, the Nike SB Dunk High “FLOM”; that would be “For The Love of Money”, a title that’s slapped onto the shoe in a very literal manner as it features various currencies from around the globe on the shoe. The “FLOM” SB Dunks are considered to be one of the rarest in history, so check out these once-in-a-blue-moon money print bangers after the jump and hop on the rare chance to own the Futura x Nike SB Dunk High “FLOM” from gergenots302 on eBay.

Legendary graffiti artist Futura has been relatively quiet in the sneaker scene over the past couple years, so much so that the most interest attached to his name in recent months was a new Dunk SB that, well, just sorta looked like something he once worked on.  It’s good to see one of the icons who added so much to the early days offer a new style and his partnership with the household name in cognac has produced a new Futura x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’Hennessy’ special edition.  There are 200,000 of the limited edition fifths produced along with a tiny run of friends and family sneaker box-ins, and you can see both including a hand-signed bottle after the jump.  via FRESHNESS

recon global hi 1 Recon Global Hi

Recon relaunched last September with a refreshed, cleaner aesthetic and a Clarks Originals Wallabee collabo that was apparently just a prelude for bigger things to come.  And since they already have legendary street artists Stash, Futura and Wane contributing to the Artist Series, what better way to launch the new Recon footwear lineup than with a Skytop-looking silhouette worn by a skater who resembles Tyler, the Creator?  Two generations of the urban underground come together on the Recon Global Hi, the first model from this collection designed to offer “Madison Avenue-level” designs at “people prices” at points ranging from $70 to $120.  This puts them squarely in Supra’s neighborhood, but will Recon’s footwear lineup get off to an even faster start than the Crown brand thanks to a distribution deal with Finish Line that commences May 1st?  Click below to see ‘A Day with Recon’ and stick with Sneaker News for updates.
