The man known as ‘The Glove’ had an arsenal of weapons that he shrewdly employed during his career, but it’s his loudmouth trash-talking that most player might remember him for. Even in our image above, you see Gary about to mutter something (looks like it starts with the letter F) to Michael Jordan, when the Sonics reached the NBA Finals and defeated the Bulls twice before eventually losing the series. Throughout Gary Payton’s career, he’s always been decked out in some great Nike Basketball shoes as well as Air Jordan PEs (you might recall him being featured in a commercial for the Air Jordan XIX).
