Gerald Wallace has been shifted around once again, and will be starting his latest NBA season out in Boston with the Celtics. We’re assuming that some PEs to reflect the change are soon to come, but we’ll have to wait until the season starts back up to see if that happens. Until then we’ll take a look back at the period that was the most prolific as far as PEs for the man-his seven year stint with the Charlotte Bobcats. The Air Jordan 13 shown is from the tail end of that period, featuring a unique colorway and his GW logo embroidered on the tongue. The only downside to digging up a player exclusive pair of Jordans is that the sizes are often prohibitively big. Such isn’t the case with this pair, one that was produced well out of the range of Gerald Wallace’s feet (We don’t know his exact measurements but it’s safe to say he’s not a size 9). The pair has Bobcats colors attached and was created for Wallace back in 2009 before his move over to the Nets. There’s another, sort of surprising, Jordan Brand sneaker that got dipped in the ‘BHM’ treatment for today’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day NBA activities. That is the Jordan Aero Mania ‘BHM’, one that was represented by Jordan Brand athlete Gerald Wallace of the Brooklyn Nets and Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers. In terms of color blocking the pair comes in closest to the Jordan CP3.VI ‘BHM’ what with its black, blue, and yellow upper. Jordan Brand has a penchant for tapping young and bright talent as their roster members. Gerald Wallace, a long-time Jordan Brand athlete, came off the bench for a talented Sacramento Kings squad, but really came out of his shell when he moved on to Charlotte, garnering an NBA All-Star Game appearance in 2010. During that year, Gerald Wallace was issued this amazing Air Jordan XIII PE in a Black/Orange colorway; it copies the popular ‘Bred XIII’ color-blocking, but features Crash’s GW PE logo on the tongue. Closing out this week in NBA action is a variety of new kicks that you don’t want to miss! We already showed you Rip Hamilton’s White/Cement IVs yesterday, but he actually ‘flipped’ to the ‘Black Flip’ for the second half of the game. Mario Chalmers also wore the Air Jordan XIX, following his XVII sighting not long ago. The Clippers bounced back from the Wednesday night’s loss by beating the Grizzlies, as Chris Paul sported a new Powder Blue/Red PE colorway of the Jordan CP3.V. On the other side, Rudy Gay wore his own Hardwood Classic PE colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer. Jordan Brand athletes Joe Johnson and Gerald Wallace broke out some kicks from last year, with JJ rocking the Prime 5 and Gerald wearing the Phase 23 Hoops.
