While the Nike Flyknit technology was crafted up with runners in mind, that doesn’t mean the style won’t proliferate out onto models that aren’t necessarily meant to hit the track. Case in point is the Nike Lunar Flyknit Chukka, a higher hitting boot-style release that is seen here in a couple of HTM variations. The pairs come in blue glow and light charcoal, with each sporting a sort of snowy look thanks to the white mixed in. Check out these two Nike Lunar Flyknit Chukka pairs from Hiroshi, Tinker, and Mark after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for word on when this next episode in the Flyknit saga arrives.

It was a bit of a wait, but the Nike Flyknit collection finally became available to the masses a couple weeks back with the arrival of plenty of colorways for both the Nike Flyknit Trainer+ and the Nike Flyknit Racer. Of course what didn’t become available to the masses was the Nike HTM Flyknit collection, with pairs so far from the third installment popping up only at select spots across Europe. 1948 London held a launch over the weekend, dropping the black and white and the awesome scrambled university red and volt pair. There’s no doubt that the mixed static look of the two toned pairs has built more buzz, showing off to a greater extent just how far Flyknit can go in terms of new patterns. Click through for photos on the launch and if you missed out you might as well try your luck on eBay for the Nike HTM Flyknit Trainer+.

This past February, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, and Mark Parker came together to officially launch Nike FlyKnit, a revolutionary new method of construction that utilized yarns and fabrics engineered for use only where it was needed. This amplified running shoe was first released as part of the Nike HTM FlyKnit collection, which included the Nike HTM FlyKnit Trainer and HTM FlyKnit Racer in extremely limited quantities. After a second successful wave of releases in April, HTM comes together for a third package to commemorate the start of the 2012 London Olympics; on July 26th, Nike will release the third Nike HTM FlyKnit Collection exclusively at Nike Sportswear 1948 in London, followed by a global launch at other locations in late August. Six colorways of the Nike HTM FlyKnit Collection will be available so take a look at all six below and stay tuned for more FlyKnit updates here on Sneaker News.

Say you’ve had a nice jog in the HTM x Nike Runboot; what kind of footwear might you choose to give your feet some fresh air but still keep em safe from the harsh ground? Check out these new colorways of the Nike Solar Soft sandal, a molded design whose shotgun perfs are sure to draw comparison to the ubiquitous Crocs slip-ons. If these joints seem a bit different than the designs we saw last year, it’s thanks to these new high-contrast palettes that add white Swooshes to the otherwise monochromatic uppers plus a black Lunar sole to finish off the polarized look. Click through to see more of the red, royal black and pink pairs and let us know which one(s) you’d grab if they ever hit retail here in the US. via Tenisfuki
