There’s a brand new Air Jordan VIII colorway coming this year, one that’s been given the “Knicks” association here and there. Of course that designation isn’t an official one, and there’s been a good amount of discussion as to whether or not the Knick-name is a proper one. If you’re looking for a more official AJVIII with that look then this should do. Shown is an Air Jordan VIII Low for Jared Jeffries, sporting a black base with orange and royal for the Knickerbocker theme. Stay with us after the jump for a full set of angles and then see the price tag on this PE pair from innovative_shopping_concepts on eBay.

Last season the New York Knicks was pretty stacked with Jordan Brand athletes. Carmelo was at their lead, and both Jared Jeffries and Mike Bibby were also out in the Big Apple. It was Jeffries second stint in NYC, meaning that he already had plenty of blue and orange Air Jordan retros to select from. This pair was one of them, an Air Jordan VIII Low presumably whipped up for his time with the team in the earlier part of the millennium. Among the Jordan Brand athletes currently in the league, Jared Jeffries is one of a handful who actually spent time on a team with Michael Jordan as the two were both with the Washington Wizards in the early part of the 2000s. Jeffries has maintained a Jordan connection ever since, one maintained via his countless player exclusives. This pair of the Air Jordan XIII is one of those, a pair from around 2004 that sports his number on the tongue rather than any specific name callout. See the game-worn, autographed Air Jordan XIII player exclusive after the jump and bid on this rare sneaker now from trenchkicks on eBay.

The Air Jordan 2012 was, to put it politely, a forgettable chapter of the legacy. There was virtually no presence of the shoe in the NBA, and with the shoe box the size of a mini-fridge, it was a rather cumbersome item to keep stored in a closet. The design of the 2012 was impressive, however, with the grown-up ‘zoot suit’ style and jazzy notes making up the entire silhouette of the shoe, and this Jared Jeffries PE during his Knicks days offers up a nice color contrast of black and a dark royal blue. Maybe we just needed more colorways to warm up to the Air Jordan 2012? In any case, we’ve got a rare look at this worn-once NBA PE, so take a look and see the full listing from hamburgsupply on eBay.
